Gonna save money from now on
I have been using another type of blender that only comes two to a pack and costs more than this one per pack. Its an awesome blender. It deepens the colors and gives them a sheen. I really like that. So I didnt hold much hope for these since they were such a deal. When they came I tried them straight away. I was very pleasantly surprised. They did just as well as the others I was using and at less than half the price. With six of them in the package I thought these are going to keep me from buying again for awhile but now that Ive used them for a few weeks I am even more surprised. They dont wear down near as fast. The others left a powdery residue each time you used them because they left part of the pencil behind every time as a coating. These dont leave that behind. Yes they are a wax based pencil but they dont disintegrate like the others.I sharpen them maybe once every thirty minutes iof coloring. The others I sharpen every few seconds because they disintegrate so fast the tips dull and they dont do very well when theyre dull. These are spectacular and a great find. Ill be buying these from now on.

Amazing for the price!
I was pleasantly surprised with how well these blender pencils perform for the price. I use several different brands of pencils and so far they’ve done great work with all of them. The sharpened point is very durable and does not crumble or break when in use.

Nice but not my preference
Decided to try a different brand of blending pencils, the price is great for how many are in the pack, and they're performance is okay. I definitely still prefer using Prismacolor blenders to these Thornton's specifically, I feel like Prismacolor has a smoother blend overall (I use Prismacolor colorless blenders with non Prismacolor colored pencils all of the time). Thornton's is good for practicing, Prismacolor is for the originals for display or for selling.

The colorless blending pencil are amazing.
These colorless blenders are amazing. They can take a pc of art done with crayon, colored pencil, any waxy substance and change the whole look of the picture. They push the wax and blend it into the teeth of the paper or you can apply a layer of another color and blend the 2 colors together to make your own color. The blender pencil is another colored pencil just without the wax, so be careful of how much wax of the blender pencil you put down as your paper can only hold so much wax.

Lay down the blender FIRST before you start coloring.
At first I hated these. I have the Prismacolor blender pencil and that feels/sounds sort of like chalk ha ha, but it does work really well. So when I got these and tried them I liked the FEEL of them (more like wax) butttt the white spots leftover in a few areas were still there even after blending. Well, the secret to these is to lay down a layer on the blank paper before you start coloring. Then when you color, the pencil will fill it in and not have any white spots. It's sort of a backwards concept, but actually it goes really quickly because you are using this blender pencil before coloring so then you don't have to wipe it off in between colors since you are not going over any colors.

Affordable alternative to Prismacolor
I love Thorton's blenders, more than prismacolor. The texture both felt roughly the same and you have to apply about the same amount of pressure. Overall, I love thortons. Although prismacolor does dominate in some areas.(Red) When it comes to gradients, prismacolor does look a little better, with a smoother transition, but thortons comes in a close second.(Dark blue) I also compared two close colors at full pressure right next to each other. Thortons was MUCH better than prismacolor. The blending was smooth and looks beautiful. Prismacolor on the other hand clumped and pulled the color off, creating an erased effect and dark spots. Very disappointed in prismacolor.(Light blue) I did another experiment with light pressure on the colored pencils. Again, I'm very satisfied with thortons and not so satisfied with prismacolor. There's a clear line between the two colors on both of them, thortons is just a little more blurred. You can also see more white space that comes with any colored pencil coloring (I even blended more using the prismacolor just in case I didn't use it enough)In conclusion, I prefer thortons over prismacolor hands down.Thortons:2/3Prismacolor:1/3

Love these!
I love adult coloring books. These are the best blenders I’ve found. Love them!

Very good blender pencils
These blenders are great! They do not chip bits of wax and they do not wear down quickly. I found that happened with the Prismacolor blenders. These have a firm texture but they blend well without making the color muddy. The price is great, too. Definitely will buy again!
