Sizing Issue
I have only worn my gloves for three bicycle rides, and only one of those was in a light rain. However, I think I can report the gloves are warm and well made. I like the fact that I don't feel the seams wearing sore spots in my hands; and I like the way the gloves allow me to grasp small items. The orange color and reflective strips are comforting when riding my bike next to a busy traffic lane. That said, I suggest buyers consider ordering a full size larger than they usually wear. For example, I usually wear size "large" gloves, but I ordered these gloves in "extra large" and still found them to be snug. I will never understand why clothing and shoe manufacturers cannot adhere to a standardization of sizes; but a "large" in these gloves would be a "medium" in most other brands. The size issue is the only reason I did not offer five stars.

Great Gloves
These gloves are great and will keep your hands very warm. I work as a Longshoreman outside on the docks & bought these after getting a mild case of frostbite on my fingers back in November while wear a pair of regular ole palm coated gloves during a snow storm and handling wet metal lashing bars. Your hands stay so warm in these that if it's warmer than 50 degrees outside they will be too warm. Recently I had to keep taking them off just to cool down. The fit is great, nice and snug. Got lot of complements the first time I took them out of my bag and laid them on the table. I probably would have rated these 5 stars but I haven't had a chance to test the waterproof performance yet since I haven't worn them in the rain or used them while handling anything wet. Which seems like a joke since I live in Seattle and it rains all of the time...Right?

Kept my hands dry and warm, decent dexterity.
This did keep my hands dry over a weekend of bushwacking in the wet woods. Like most gloves like this, the waterproof layer is an inner liner, so the outside will still get wet/waterlogged. I sprayed the outside with silicon water repellent to slow that down a little. With the liner, which is basically a second gloves stitched inside the first, they were a little bulky, but better than most recreational gloves. Could mostly manipulate a compass while wearing them. Would try to tie knots. Almost too warm for my conditions (40-50 F).

Nice looking but seem to run small
I liked the high visability of these gloves but estimate that they were two sizes smaller than described. The second issue is that they have a soft liner within a more durable shell. I did not like that the liner would partially pull out when I removed a glove from my hand. I would have preferred a one piece construction. I can't comment on waterproofness, insulation properties or durability since I had to return them due to the size issue. I orderred an XXL. They do look nice, however.

Great *cool* weather glove
Well made, heavy duty, very visible, and not bulky. Good grip as well. Good for above freezing. 5 below freezing and you start running into problems, particularly if you are in a situation with significant airflow (i.e.: riding a bike). I think the air seeps through the stitching in the fingertips, as the rest of my hands were okay, but the tips were painfully numb in the recent cold snaps (-20 C) in the mid-Atlantic.

Not much of a glove for the money
I work in the snow a lot. The glove does keep your hands warm but that's as far as it goes. Every other brand of glove I have purchased the ExLg fits perfect. This glove fit like a large at best, but more like a Med. After working several hours outside my hands perspired and when I took the gloves off, the lining pulled out of the fingers. Even after they dried out it was almost impossible to get the lining back where it belonged. If they were to attach the lining better and make the glove the proper size it would be a very good glove, but until they do that, this was the first and last pair of Youngstown gloves I'll buy.

excellent
snug fit and stiff but such was expected; orange material and reflectivevstrip a extremely bright, can't be missed by anyone with functioning eyes. Tactile grip on fingers and palms offsets poor grasp function due to overall stiffness. Keeps the wet out as long as cuff not immersed(of course). Keeps people away on subway...they don't know what to think..MTA worker? Cop? Crazy? nice side effect.

Too small
The site show you how to measure your hand and it should update it because I measured my hand and the gloves I received are too small for my hand. Now I'm down $40.00 and have gloves I cant wear.
