Our puppers has a nasty habit of stealing his human mom's things and chewing them when he feels ignored. We had been using boxes and other make-shift items to keep him out of mischief in the back of the house. He quickly learned how to either plow through them or sail over them. I found this gate, liked the looks and reviews, so gave it a whirl and we LOVE it! We've had it for several months now. It's very open and unobtrusive. Rather nice looking to be honest. Very sturdy and well made. Stanley does not challenge it at all, which is awesome! I'm sure it would hold if he put his paws up on it. It's easy to install - I just followed the instructions. Do note the gate won't be square until you get it tightened correctly. We opted to get wall protectors to help distribute the pressure. Wish we would have gotten it sooner!

Works great! My toddler that loves to climb hasn’t figured out how to climb this baby gate! The height is good! Beautiful color! Opening is a learning curve but that’s a good thing because it keeps my littles out of dangerous places!

Sturdy and looks nice. Adjustable width. Swings both directions. Only thing I don't like is that if you leave it half closed, it will slam shut the rest of the way, as though spring loaded. You have to make sure to prop it all the way open, or close it all the way after you walk through.

Bought 2 different brands and will say that I really prefer this one. Just wish it came in white. Relatively easy to install. I chose pressure mount find that the bottom kicks out sometimes BUT I believe it’s more because of my installation skills. Guessing it just needs tightening. Am using 2, senior cats who don’t do a lot of jumping so it’s doing a GREAT job of keeping them out of certain rooms and allowing me to keep room doors open. Would buy again IF it came in white. One annoying bit is that labels on the gate are near impossible to remove and aren’t the nicest look. 😏

These are the best gates for dogs - I've had two Pitties that kept them easily segregated, now I have a jack Russel of a nightmare but she can't jump over them. Get the taller on and they are built very sturdy.

Love these gates and they look so much better than the wooden one and easier to secure area by just shutting the door. Easy install, opening and closing also..... Just don't forget to step over bottom of gate, which take a few days to get used to doing. No big deal. Highly recommend. Love it.

My walls are not true or vertical. It didn't matter to this fine unit. Installation was quick and easy. Directions were easy to follow (unlike many Chinese to English translations.) 2 friends saw the unit and bought it. I highly recommend this unit!!! Note: I did install yellow reflective tape on the lower cross bar because I kept tripping over it. Problem solved.

It looks and works great! It was a simple installation, and was up in no time at all! It’s heavy and solid, and despite the long walk, was delivered right to my front door! It’s secure which was a big concern, and I am relying solely on pressure! I was looking for an attractive pressure gate, with security, height and an easy install… that’s exactly what I received! The auto shut was a bonus and it arrived quickly! Well worth the money! If my opinion changes, I will write an update, but for now, I am thoroughly pleased!

Purchased so that we could give a cat a quiet space away from the kitten. Works well for what it is, and the gate adjusted a lot better than previous ones we tried! Doesn't prevent the odd smack, but keeps the cats where we want them!

Good quality and aesthetically pleasing! The purpose of buying this was to keep the dogs out of the carpeted basement, and it’s doing just that! Easy to set up and install, gate works great! Great buy!

It was confusing to install until you actually read ALL of the instructions. Like to lift the gate then it opens easily. It’s well worth the money & it even stops my cats from heading down the basement. Easy to install & adjust, and it looks good.
