What I most enjoyed about this little booklet was Carole Lynne's warm and approachable style. Most important, she dispels notions of spirit contact portrayed by the media as extreme, scary, and sensationalist and gave me a better understanding of how a spirit medium can contact those whose lives no longer exist on the physical plane. Be sure to also watch YouTube videos of an interview with Carole Lynne where I found her to be so accessible and credible. Good little primer.

Very clearly written. As a medium herself, she had some good suggestions. I recommend this book for anyone who is going to get a reading.

On numerous occasions I've recommended to someone going through the grief of losing a loved one that they might consider consulting a psychic medium, based on my own incredible experiences.Invariably, despite confiding to a state of desperation,their response to this notion is one of daunting scepticism.Carole Lynne has created a superb, much needed guide. She addresses every imaginable scenario in a wonderfully sensitive, easy style that should'de-daunt' anyone.

I have been considering consulting a psychic medium; but I am skeptical and concerned about scam artists. The author provided excellent information to guide me in deciding what is best for me--a medium, a psychic or a shrink. She also provided good tools for finding reputable practitioners. I enjoyed reading this book and I will keep it as a reference.

The author knows her subject but her perspective is too personal for me.I thought this book was going to tell me how to prepare to get the best reading I could get but instead too much of the book is aboutthe rules the author thinks you should follow in order to be respectful to a Medium. She says you should never mistake a Medium for a Reader, a Psyhic or an Astrologer. They are different and clearly, it is one of the author's goals is to make sure we know the difference. She does this by going through each of the typical questions one might ask and tells you not to ask that of the wrong type of person. She does give some good advice for sure but in the end I felt more like I was reading a kind of rule book and that is not what I was looking for.

Liked this book, gave you good tips on what to look for and what to expect. Clear and concise.
