**Disclosure: I was an original technical reviewer on the book**I had to originally learn cryptography out of a book with a lot of theory but almost no code.Dennis has an excellent methodology of teaching cryptography in this book by providing you the fundamentals of a given crypto methodology, why it is important in an enterprise security application context, and then gives you code that isn't overly complex to really drive home the concept!I think his methodology is very effective and it's how I wish I was taught in my cryptography class instead of having to browse StackOverflow for the code tidbits I needed. Recommend for any crypto beginner!

I hate to read, but this book I haven’t been able to put down. I actually pick this book up more than my phone! It goes everywhere with me! Yes including the bathroom! Great book which lays out the A-Z of security. I recommend this book before you do a book camp!
