Without an intercommunity vat no. In uk, you can’t get the gm software licence.
The device was straightforward to install with instructions from the reviews BUT they were not written for users in the UK. The Vauxhall Ampera software is NOT available from the ACDELCO site and has to be obtained via service box for uk and Europe. They no longer allow private mechanics to purchase the licences for software and require a INTER COMMUNITY VAT NO. to enable checkout completion. If you have one, crack on, if not, this will not work in the uk for reprogramming control modules. Tisweb is not up to date for many cars too and is useless in the uk.Peugeot/gm has made this wonderful tool obsolete for a general re-flash to clear SHVCS issues by making this “inter community vat number” box *required*Also had to clear a Trojan so don’t use the disk.

Magnífica
Super recomendable y a un costo muy bajo. Puedes programar todo lo que hace un MDI.

It works well, but expect to do a little software juggling for success.
2008 Hummer, needed to replace BCM. Dealer wanted $170 to program and 1/2 hour $82.50 to install. In the 08 H2 replacement of the BCM takes 45 seconds at most. It (unlike many vehicles) has no need to remove any panels or screws. It’s literally beside the steering column and requires the release of 6 plugs that only go back in one foolproof way. The latest acdelco SDS for one vin is 45.00 for 24 months of access.I used a win11 laptop with all the latest updates. Signed up at acdelco and purchased an SDS one vin subscription. Used edge explorer and “view vin” which installed the SDs and tech 2 win ( more about tech2win later). After install, logging into acdelcosds opens the SDS program. Do not run as administrator- it ( for whatever reason ) won’t load.Prior to accessing acdelco, I downloaded the VXmanager online and installed. The SDs installed, it immediately recognized the vxdiag and the vehicle after 2 reboots. ( turn off antivirus to install ) and don’t pick ( install as administrator)Recommendation : make sure vehicle battery is fully charged and attach a battery charger or power supply ( I used a NOCO 7 amp power supply - charger.I replaced the BCM and the flash downloaded and pushed to the vehicle, now the “problem” after a flash, you need to add the “supplemental restraint system” encoder into the new BCM via tech2win. However the version of tech2win that’s installed via SDS automatically isn’t activated with your SDS subscription. Not a problem. Open vxmanager and install tech2win ( an older version ). go through the menus and find suplemental restraint key and sync the key. This will turn off the airbag light and you’re done. Or you can stay in tech2win and “activate” all your vehicle function switches and relays and check that everything works - for fun or testing “intermittent problems”. You can clear other DTCs and alter customizable settings like “when do my auto headlights turn on - at what dusk darkness” and manipulate other settings like Now, when you reopen SDS via acdelco login, it’s going to re-install the latest tech2win, but that’s not a problem. Most modules do not need tech2win after programming the module. Some do, some don’t. But after the SDS flash, complete instructions are then posted below the flash screen outlining any necessary additional setup up procedures needed. Since tech2win only covers up to 2010 vehicles when GM GDS took over, using an old version of tech2win isn’t an issue, vxmanager must be running when you open tech2win.I’ve had this vehicle since it rolled o off the assembly line in mar 2008. we only use it to tow a color matched enclosed trailer. I know every nut bolt and screw on this vehicle, so I’m sure I’ll need the VxDiag again. 10 years ago the last time I needed a module, I had friends with tech2 devices and access to programming needs. Now I have to rely on myself ( repair shops never do neat, clean workmanship anymore ) and it’s just a hassle to take anything you care about to a garage for even the simplest tasks anymore. Yup, I’m old, meticulous and don’t mind spending a day detailing, maintaining or repairing. Reprogramming modules is one of those “grey” areas of DIY repair. The money of having it done elsewhere isn’t the issue, the problems is - the hassle of taking it somewhere vice the satisfaction of doing it yourself in less time than it would take to drive to - from a shop - with equal or better results and the assurance that your vehicle has the same fasteners back in it that it had prior ( always a sore spot with me - lost / left out fasteners.)After the BCM install, I @went into all the modules and ensured they had the latest updates and options matched my preferences.I didn’t use the USB enclosed with the VxDiag, downloaded vxmanager direct, which facilitates the tech2win download.

Cannot reprogram any modules. No tech support. Waste of money.
First, the installation video on the flash drive is ok and if you follow it, you will successfully install the software. Installed on a Win7 64 bit Laptop. However, just because the software installed, doesn't mean the software will work though.SPS reprogramming of modules does not work. I have an SPS subscription and everything seemed to work up until the point of actually programming a module, at that point the VCX Nano fails and an error is returned. Tried tech support but I don't think anyone is there as no response at all. Tried searching for solutions but none (two) that I found made any difference.Every time you connect the VCX Nano to your computer, the drivers may or may not be installed. Do not try to start Tech2Win until the drivers are loaded. Really time consuming and annoying.GDS2 does not work. No Valid Lease Found. Searched and tried possible solutions and none worked. No information provided on how to get a Valid Lease even though VX Manager shows License for GDS2.Tech2Win Quickstart does not work. MDI Manager does not work. SPS Programming is disabled in Tech2Win.

I have GM software tools i paid 3000k for from a reputable source. This 100 dollar tool is basically the same. Crazy how can i compete.

Not Worth the Trouble.
I wanted to save a few $ and figured it’d be handy to have this tool around. I’d like to consider myself pretty tech savvy, and this product is an absolute nightmare to try and install. Part of the installation process requires you to disable any and all anti virus software to properly install. If you’re OK with Chinese malware being installed to your personal PC, I guess this is the product for you! After that’s all said and done the operation of this device is confusing and not user friendly. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend. Probably wouldn’t even recommend to someone who isn’t a friend, it’s just that crappy.
