Good beginner board
So I read a lot of reviews and was hesitant. I saw mixed reviews but I saw a lot of reviews on how it was decent for the price and if you’re a beginner. I am a complete beginner to DJing and have not touched a board in my life, I was extremely excited to get this one and start going at it. I will say my review is an honest 4/5 stars after 24 hours. It has been easy to navigate the board and know the basics, it’s a lightweight board that’s maybe 18” so it’s not your big fancy board and some that knows what they are doing might think this board is too simple. For beginners this board is a lot of fun it’s super cool and the lights on it add to the show. The hardest part is finding a software that works for you and finding out how to link the board to the software, for me VirtualDJ has been the best so far. Anyways, for beginners this board is perfect and should last a little bit before you wanna advance up to a new board.

Great starter board!
I purchased the $129 board with no speakers, just wanting to learn how to start mixing tracks for fun. It's a purchase I've been sitting on for over a year now and I'm so glad I chose this board to use as my first one. It's very beginner friendly with a full downloadable program, instruction manual, and thousands of YouTube videos to teach me how to use the more complicated features. I like that I can just play the music from my laptop speakers and not have to buy anything fancy. DJing is not something you can just pick up doing, but I feel like I'm already doing such a great job. There are a few additional purchases I've had to make for this that maybe other beginners won't think about. For example:-A USB to USBC converter for my Mac. It cost me about $30 with tax and I just grabbed it at the grocery store.-The SoundCloud+ subscription. If you're already an Apply Music user, you should have thousands of songs to choose from. However, I prefer Spotify as my personal streaming platform, so I tried the SoundCloud+ subscription knowing I could find a much bigger space of mixes on there. It's $10 a month additionally though so I don't know if I'll keep that for long or make the switch to Apple. No problems with this baby so far tho!!! Love it :)

Good for the price
Pretty good quality mix between metal and plastic. Pretty light for its size. Looks really cool with the lights on. Some features didn’t work with my specific dj software but everything else was good.

Returning it
This board is not bad build wise but the connectivity is horrible. It randomly crashes and disconnects from my MacBook and when it does it stops playing the music. It will work for hours and then randomly stop. I have to exit serato and reopen it and it takes about a minute to reconnect. I’m returning this asap

Cheap 2 channel mixer
Decided to take the plunge into DJing and got this while I was waiting on my backordered FLX 4 to arrive. At first it seemed fine and maybe that would still be my opinion had this been the only controlled I'd used.To say it is the worst is probably an exaggeration and for the price it's okay. It lacks many features commonly found on other cheap decks but has enough to pass.I like that it was fairly easy to pick it up and figure out what I was doing. It is small and light which makes it very portable and works well for simple mixing. Anything beyond the very basics however and the flaws become instantly glaring and impassable. My biggest gripes are:-The loop function is very restrictive-FX is pad only and difficult to manipulate and control-Missing control for mid frequencies (this was the biggest issue I didn't know I was missing until I had it)If you're looking for something just to play some music at a house party or something this will probably work for you.If you're looking to learn and grow this will not give you long enough before feeling dissatisfied and wanting better to justify the money saved.
