I used regular clumping litter for another cat for her entire 17.5 year life span, using more as she got older and used the indoor litter box more often. I had bought this originally for her but she was reluctant to use the litter box with it since it was so different. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge nearly a year ago and I have a new, 2-year old rescue who was also used to clumping litter. I thought she might be easier to try out something new with. After her adjustment period, she got 2 litter boxes in separate areas of the house. One was regular clumping litter, the other a mix of clumping and a bag of this. It's been about 3 weeks now and the clumping litter is exactly what I expected. Clumps with wetness and urine and poo clumps, all easy to scoop out. The mixed box? I don't see any wet clumps. I scoop and shovel and move it all around, nothing on the bottom. No wet spots. Poo is pretty hard dried. There is more dust than the plain litter box that swirls when I scoop and shovel and move it all around but I'm not sure why. For 1 cat/2 litter boxes, I think it will at least equal value to any good clumping litter that needs either adding to and then changing every few weeks. It hasn't been a month but I can't really smell anything in the box this is in, the enclosed one. The open just plain litter does have a smell when I am scooping but when the litter is all mixed up, it's pretty much gone. How long that will last is anyone's guess since the litter is only about 3 weeks old. I know I'm going to keep using this crystal litter but probably mixed with clumping litter until I find out it isn't better. So, Sandy uses it without a problem mixed, has not had any problems with skin issues with it, doesn't eat it, she has tracked a little out but not a whole lot, it's effective, still looks pretty.

I have this litter on auto order. My cats litter box is in the office by my desk and everytime she goes I have to smell it. With this litter, I don't! It's easy to clean as it crystallizes/dries out the poop. I use liners so I scoop 2-3 weeks and wrap and dump the litter with liner the last week. It lasts longer with consistent scooping. It's easy to pour, just cut, dump, and spread, and doesn't kick up dust! She likes it and I love it! Win for her and win for my respiratory system lol

I personally don’t like lavender as a scent, but when I tell you that there’s no smell with this one. Like the blue one is OK but you end up smelling it after like 20 days this one you smell nothing ever. I’m gonna try regular litter because I have one of those automatic litter cleaning machines that I got for free to review from another company and it required this particular letter because it’s from this company, but if that doesn’t work, I’m gonna come back to the lavender

I'm tired of old kitty liter. I started looking at new cat liter to see what's affordable and still does it's job. The quality is good, one bag last me a month for one cat. I clean the poop out and then rake the reminder to mix the pee. The poop is easy to remove and the pee gets attacked my the liter in a chemical process. The smell is very bare minamimul meaning barely stinky . It's very lightweight and not sticky . It's definitely worth the money , this is the second time I've bought this product so weve used this kiter for three months.

Works great, I don’t even have to replace as often as recommended. Keeps the smell away, easy to clean and works great with the pet safe litter box

As a cat owner of two mostly independent felines and someone who frequently travels for work, the PetSafe Scoop Free Premium Crystal Litter has been a game-changer for us. I use it with my PetSafe Self-Cleaning Litterbox which allows me to leave the cats home for the week while I'm out. I have a 18 y/o that keeps them company but forget about asking him to clean the litterbox. I used to use clay litter and even tried pine pellets. None have kept the odors away as well as the crystal litter.

I have adopted my first cat so I don't have much to compare to, but I got this litter because my cat tracks SO much around the house. Sadly after using this litter I still was finding crystals around the apartment. The one benefit of the crystals is that when they get wet they also don't leave clay marks on the floor if my cat steps in water. They also don't gross me out as much when I find them on the floor. However, I am convinced my cat tracks more than most cats so I think I may just have to accept daily sweeping and vacuuming.I first mixed this litter in with regular clumping litter, and that was extremely annoying to clean because there were many little clumps I had to get out. Once it was pretty much all crystals (~ 1 week) I noticed that the smell coverage wasn't as good as my previous Fresh Step litter. That was when I realized this was not for me. I am very sensitive to smells so other customers may not feel this way, but I feel there are definitely better litter options for smell coverage and that's at least a problem I can solve with other products.

I originally was buying this at my Giant Eagle grocery store. The cost was way more at the store at the grocery store than online with Amazon works well no dust.
