I got this in white and red. The white icing was great but the red was as runny as water and couldn’t be used.

Just an awful product. Aside from the great red color, it was runny, gloopy, impossible to work with. Tasted like chemicals. Think gel, not icing. I suggest you just make your own royal icing. This stuff will ruin your cake.

I bought two of these to decorate cookies with my 4 year old - one red and one pink. Pros: They were easy to microwave and use right away. My daughter could use these by herself without needing any help. They tasted like really sugary icing. Cons: The containers have pre-cut holes in the tips and the holes are really large. This works fine for flooding type decorating if you want the whole cookie to be iced in one color, but not if you want to draw with any fine lines. Overall, don’t expect to be able to make professional looking cookies with these. They don’t work nearly as well as professional tips and piping bags. But for people looking for something easy with their little kids, this does the trick.
