Great product, very bright

I'm writing this review after 3 years of owning these and they have been through 3 Canadian winters with our roads full of salt and sand. I've had zero issues and used the included kit to hardwire these. The price is amazing, I would know as when I was shopping around to purchase reverse led lights comparable products were about 3-5x the price. I honestly bought these as an ecpirement just to see how bright they were but somehow they fit so perfectly between the hitch and the ball hitch receiver without any modifications. I did add a lock on my hitch though. What reminded me to do this review Is I had a reverse light go out recently and these have been a life saver!! Especially when I did a cross country trip in the dark foggy snow, you can keep them on to prevent getting rear ended. (Not legal advice check local road and driving laws)

Bother got moisture and one doesn’t work

4/5 stars! Works great! Had to build my own wiring harness. So I ended up spending more money on wiring and an inline fuse and relay. Wouldn’t recommend this product for someone without automotive skill, or electrical skill. Otherwise works great! Good quality! Using it as additional reverse lights on the back of my van! Super slick and works great for camping as well!

You have to have some level of mechanical skill to install these, but what a difference! I chose not to go with the hitch receiver bracket because there wasn’t enough room above it to mount the lights on my truck, so my lights would’ve hung lower than the bottom of the receiver mount. The problem with that is when you’re going down a very steep driveway, the receiver mount can sometimes drag on the ground, which would’ve meant the lights would’ve broke off if I mounted them there. I chose to mount the lights directly to my bumper. To the left of my license plate is the trailer electrical connection point. There are two possible connections, the straight row of pins on the bottom half, or the round connector on the top: if you tap into the round connector, the center conductor is your trailer back up lights. As an option, you can also install a switch at your dashboard. But wow, what a difference these make in brightness! Going to be great for connecting to a trailer at night and backing up a trailer at night. You can rotate the lights outward a bit for a widely lit area. Great product - great price!
