Get what you pay for......
I bought a six piece set of these carving tools a couple of years ago. At first, when I made a few test cuts, they were not too bad. The problem is that they do not hold an edge very long and you will spend more time sharpening than carving. If you are going to use them occasionally, they will work just fine, but be prepared to do a lot of sharpening.
