The outer part is great, the sole is solid - but the insole is garbage. It's a single thin layer of styrofoam, basically. It removes easily for a custom insole, but if you don't have a good one of those don't bother with this shoe. Definitely not what I would have thought of as the normal Columbia quality of item.

Utiliser pour une première randonnée de 7km en montagne. Bonne adhérence et protection contre les roches de la part de la semelle. Par contre, j'ai fini la rendo avec des ampoules aux talons. Pas aussi confortable que les Merrel que j'avais avant alors je suis un peu déçu à date. Reste à voir si il vont se casser et devenir plus confo avec le temps...

Nice for Vancouver weather, but the fit is too snug. I ordered a size up than usual, but these are still very snug. Don't want to go through the hassle of returns so I can just make do, but would suggest ordering a size up. Pricey, but well I wanted to have my toes not fall off, so I guess for me it seemed worth the price. Comfy, and not too heavy, could easily do a long walk with these. Need to test them on hikes though

The title on the page was misleading, which is “ Columbia Men s Crestwood Waterproof Hiking Boot “. That’s why I placed an order. But when I received the shoe, it was for women.

These are the best hiking shoes! I've worn them on at least 6 hikes so far and they are so comfortable. Most of these hikes have been in wet weather and my feet have stayed completely dry. I haven't gone tromping through puddles but I've been on some muddy trails in the rain and they've been great. They fit true to my shoe size and I just love them!
