True gardenia fragrance
Exactly like the Jungle Gardenia from the 1960’s except that the fragrance does not last. It has a slightly oily feel as good parfums must, but frangance fades quickly. Still, it is a very lovely smell if you are a fan of florals

Although the original fragrance was “cheap”, this one is actually quite elegant.
I love gardenias but often the fragrances smell “cheap” and phony. This current version of Jungle Gardenia has a very genuine fragrance that isn’t too heady or overpowering.

Not the real Jungle Gardenia
Unfortunately, I was disappointed. This was not the Jovan brand I used to get many years ago. They just dont make it any more. This did not smell good to me. : (
