While short, the author covers Reagan's life enough to tempt the reader to read more comprehensive version. It shares reminders of his time in office and some stories not necessarily known to all readers

There is a lot of information packed in this concise book. The book is interesting and well written. There were a couple of typos, I wish there was better editing.It is a wonderful overview about Ronald Reagan’s movie and political career.

I liked that the book was short enough to read in one session, but, at the same time, included a lot of information. It was very interesting to read.

As a non U.S. Citizen I became aware that Reagan had been in politics for a much longer time than I was aware.While he was President I listened to several of his speeches and thought him to be totally sincere.Again, as a non U.S.Citizen I was overjoyed when he started talks with Gorbachev.I believe he left the world in a better state.

This book is a good source for anyone who wants to learn the basic facts of Reagan’s life in one evening. While the story has certainly been simplified and the presented view of his person may be seen as a little uncritical, it does the job as a primer and may encourage one to do more reading.

During Jimmy Carter's term of office I was a newlywed just starting out in Radio (Big Salary $150 a week) My wife had a part-time job. We found out we were going to be Blessed with a Child. I almost Panicked. Inflation was high, food & gas was high -- How Could we afford to raise a baby? Then I saw this kind man on TV tell us we're a great country and we can be Great Again. So he got elected and our life got better. Got 3 raises at work - Wife got a full time job And we bought a house -- added One More Son, too! Reading this book brought back all those memories -- Country just Seemed to Get Along Better For His Time in Office.

I was too young to vote when Ronald Reagan was president. I wish they had been able to make an exception to that rule! I really liked him a lot!This book gave me a chance to remember him and to learn more about him. There was a lot to like and admire about Ronald Reagan.Although it was not an official election, the high school I attended gave us students a chance to vote for the person we would like to see as president. Reagan was running for re-election and Walter Mondale was running against him. It was a landslide win for President Ronald Reagan. Shortly thereafter, our parents voted exactly as we had! And I was glad!Thank You for bringing back such a wonderful time in my young life!

Short and concise review of Ronald Reagan. You may not agree with his politics but he lived a life to be considered.

I liked this short book about a good actor and a great president who managed to bring down the iron curtain between the UNited States and Russia, pity the gutter leaders of two great nations took them back to a Cold War with each one distrusting the other.

An interesting read, full of information on the man himself. The fact that it’s a short book suits me as I like to read a book in one go.
