Secure guitars after a couple of near slips
I now add these straplocks to all my guitars as it saves buying too many new straps, with a choice of finishes they will match most models. Added this system after trying others and to my mind they are the most secure. Can be purchased with the pins if you need to set up a strap or just on their own if you have already invested.

Have used these for years. They are excellent quality and work so well with the same named strap lock buttons. So much easier and safer than the normal strap holders, I never use anything else.

They were great until one fell out after a month of shredding. Maybe they can’t handle vibration?

My fiancé had a new Thunderbird bass guitar that had absolutely atrocious neck dive. Every time he'd take his hands off the guitar, the neck would plummet to hang about a foot off the floor. Got this strap lock yesterday and installed it just behind the neck. Installation was simple to do with only a drill, and took less than 5 minutes. Now his Thunderbird hangs in place when he's not actively holding it, and he's already feeling reduced neck strain from how unbalanced it felt to play.
