Feels better on the hand.
I couldnt get the cut I like so I ended up just cutting it out into strips that fit the grip of my gun. It feels better after doing this.

Perfect addition to get the right level of grip for your firearm.
It adds the perfect amount of aggressive texture on my carry gun. Easy to cut and put on, no slippage.

Great grip surface.
Cut your shape, clean the surface, & stick it down. Easy to apply, sticks where you put it,& holds up well.

A little pricey, but good quality and does the job
Just received this and immediately applied it to my extended magazines, support hand thumb rest area, and even the pinky rest area on my standard magazines. It transformed my pistol into something I have much more confidence in controlling and performing follow up shots. I shoot a 10mm compact XDM Elite and the grip texture is was too slippery for the power of a 10mm round. Without even shooting the pistol, my grip is now secure and firm. The texture of the granulate version is just like sand paper. This may not be good for appendix or IWB carry as it will irritate the skin and will snag clothing easily. However, for application to the extended magazine ends and adding a few patches to critical areas on the pistol frame and maybe the front and rear straps of the grip, I think this grip texture works very well. I absolutely recommend that you heat the tape before applying ( you’ll notice that the tape becomes “floppy” when it’s heated enough before applying), then after applying, heat the tape again and press firmly on all areas to really seat the adhesive and tape to your pistol gear. Repeat the heating process another 2x and it will be perfect. No need for a hair dryer or heat gun, which is often recommended. I just used the heat of my gas stove to warm everything to the temperature of very warm but not hot. Just remember to make sure the firearms are completely unloaded and safe.

AWESOME Stuff!
I rarely write a review but had to in this case! I just got the Talon Grip Material in this morning via UPS. It comes in a 5" X 7" sheet which is plenty big. I was originally looking for a Hogue type grip for my CZ Scorpion as I have them on all my ARs. I love the tactile grip and sticky feeling VS a hard plastic grip. I couldn't find one for the Scorpion. So I bought the Pakse Pathfinder grip from HB Industries as it had the correct angle... Thought for this review it wouldn't matter what grip you had.First, I created a pattern using painters tape. Looking at how custom grip material was applied to other weapons I have, I knew I was going to overlap the material on the finish... So I cut it a little longer than I needed. I removed the tape and traced my pattern in reverse on the back of the Talon material. It's white paper so it is easy to trace. I used a pair of sharp scissors for most but also used an exacto knife for some of the round inside corners. Since the grip is 3D and the paper is 2D... An exact tracing probably won't be possible. You need to remember that this stuff bends and stretches a little as needed when applied... And you will be able to trim to fit while you are applying it if you are careful and have a sharp exacto knife handy.I cleaned the grip per instructions with isopropyl alcohol. I wiped it down well and got out the hair dryer to make sure everything evaporated. I lined up the grip material and slowly applied, peeling back the paper as I went. I needed to trim a few spots where I was off on the pattern. It was VERY easy to work. I slowly worked it around, pulling and trimming as needed for a perfect fit. Once wrapped completely around and overlapped where I started... I broke out the hair dryer and heated it all up. I did this several times, allowing it to cool in between. I pressed down EVERYWHERE! It molded exactly to the grip as I wanted. The grip now feels almost as good as a Hogue. I was also left with a piece large enough to add some tactile strips to the front of my HB Industries Pakse Sapper MLOK front grip. Two small strips on either side on the bottom. WOW! This is SO much better than stock! Picking up the gun and shouldering it now feels much more comfortable and tactile.Hope this helps someone make a choice!
