It came with two batteries. I had an old dead battery which I inserted in the third slot and plugged it in. Within an hour I had three good, fully charged batteries ready to use. Good enough!

Got about an hour of video per battery. So that's pretty decent for that price. The battery itself did get a little hot letting it be used straight for an hour.

poor performance and they don't last the test of time
these batteries lasted me less than 2 years. now, they don't hold a charge at all. immediately dies. the battery life was never great with these either, they lasted not as long as the official gopro battery
