Great, even in a non-SFX build (see details). Recommended
I'll be honest... I really had no intention of buying a SilverStone Technology 300W SFX Form Factor 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply with +12V Single Rail, Active PFC (ST30SF). The thing is that I was putting together my first mini-ITX build since the Via Eden days. While I wanted a small system, I specifically bought a Cooler Master Elite 110 RC-110-KKN2 so I could use a standard size PSU. The problem was that the CPU placement on the motherboard, combined with the height of the Ryzen 5 3400G's OEM Wraith Spire cooler, and the PSU placement in the case resulted in a pretty small gap between the CPU fan and the PSU. Maybe it would have been fine, but I really just didn't like the idea of half of my heatsink not being able to efficiently shed heat. So, I decided to swap out the OEM cooling unit with a SilverStone Technology RL-KR01. That solved my clearance issue, but it was WAY louder than the stock unit, which didn't really work for me. After a little digging, I decided to get the SilverStone Technology ST30SF, and use the included adapter plate. Theoretically, that would let me go back to the stock cooler.I've had proprietary PSUs before, but not very often... stuff like Shuttles, or microATX builds. I was only vaguely aware of the SFX form factor, but was excited when I found out about adapter plates you could use for a regular ATX PSU mount. The ST30SF wasn't the cheapest option, but it was the lowest cost unit that had a brand I trusted and had the adapter bracket (otherwise you'd have to spend like $10 to get one). As you might imagine, the unit is tiny. The bracket centers the unit within the ATX cavity, so it's not necessarily optimized for clearance, but that wasn't an issue for me. As my build is an R5 3400G, 32GB of RAM, and an NVMe drive on an x4 card, it really doesn't need anything bigger than 300W (it doesn't even need that, really). The build quality of the PSU appears to be up to the level I expect from Silverstone, despite being a lower-priced product. The adapter plate is grey/silver, so you may want to hit it with some spray paint, if you care about aesthetics. The 24 and 8-pin mobo power cables are long enough for whatever small case you may be using. In operation, the PSU can be completely silent. There was a sash-type notice on the power supply, warning the user that the PSU fan doesn't always spin, as it's temperature controlled. Even when it's spinning, the fan isn't that loud. It is a little weird for the sound floor to change that much for a running computer, though. In operation, I didn't have any stability problems, and I had solid 3.3, 5, and 12v line voltages. If you know you're going to stay within a 300w power budget, this power supply is a great choice. It's solid and quiet. The only thing that's kind of janky is the color of the adapter plate, which I'm guessing most purchasers won't use, anyway. Recommended.

I only wish it was available in a 500 or 750W model!
Same as mentioned above!

Should be modular
Besides the high cost of this PSU that is the only form factor that fits in their cases, it doesn't come as a modular cable design, which means you have a mass of cables tucked in the space that would have been used for something useful like more drives.

Silent, SFX, 92 mm fan, 1x 6-pin PCI-E. After 2 weeks of use, would rate 4.5 stars but is not SFX-L
I purchased the product for the features above. It also is 300W and 80+ Bronze efficient. Since PSUs are most efficient at ~50% load (150W for a 300W PSU), low wattage builds can come as close as possible to reaching this peak area in efficiency. I would have preferred if it was SFX-L so that a >92 mm fan could be placed in the product for even quieter operation, but for the price this is acceptable. The noise level is superb. I approximate I have used up to 150 watts and have not heard the fan at all. Being non-modular is not a problem since it is possible to use every cable that is provided. The cables are sleeved which is nice and the packaging the item comes in looks professional. It is currently in a Fractal Design Node 202 case, which is 4" thick. Nonetheless, the SFX PSU fit even with some room to spare. It has booted for the last two weeks without issues. This review may be updated as time passes. I was conflicted between buying this V2 item and the ST30SF-V1, particularly since the V1 has a semi-passive fan that runs at 0 RPM at low temps, but I am satisfied with this product. It even has a SFX to ATX adapter if you wanted to put it in a larger case.I would rate this at 4.5 stars, merely because it is not SFX-L. If an SFX-L can fit in a node 202, I bet any case can fit SFX-L and benefit from having a larger fan.

Great for a small case. Measure carefully for full size.
I installed this PSU in my home theater machine and it fit perfectly. I used the included adapter plate to mount this in a full size ATX case. My configuration actually has very low power requirements and it is difficult to find lower wattage PSU that have 80+ ratings. The only problem I found was the wires for the 24-pin motherboard connector are only 12 inches long. That is probably fine for the mini ATX or smaller motherboards, but my full size ATX board had the connections in the farthest possible corner from the PSU and it was out of reach. Not even a near miss. However, it was easily corrected with at StarTech 24 pin power extension cable. In a mini-ATX, this would get five stars, but since they give you a mounting adapter for ATX, it should have cables long enough to reach all ATX components.Compared to the non 80+ PSU I replaced, this one is silent and the Kill-A-Watt meter readings are all significantly lower. It reads 0W in standby mode (down from 5) and 40W with the PC running nothing (down from 48) Video playback & encoding went from 90W to 70W. Only change was this power supply. The product is nicely packaged and has matching black mounting hardware, including regular screws or hand screws for tool-free cases. They tossed in a few zip ties and a Velcro strap. The booklet is extremely detailed and spec's the voltage for every color wire to every connector in five or six languages. This was listed as temporarily out of stock when I placed the order, but I think it was only a day or two before I got the email that it had shipped.

Great power supply
TL:DR: worked great for years, highly recommendAfter the power supply failed in my old Lenovo Thinkcenter, and the apevia replacement unit failed after 2 hours, I was so happy to find a product that worked. This power supply lasted me through 2 computers, and still worked when I gave it away. The only reason I replaced it was because I decided that having my pasu stick out through the 5 1/4 bays on my second computer looked tacky. Over all, I highly recommend this power supply to anyone who wants something to last a long time and never fail.

Love it!!!!! Works flawlessy
I needed a PSU for a new built, it delivers well and does not cause errors. Happy with it. A little on the expensive side but the oddity of the item cause that. Still happy I got it!!

Nonstandard TFX standard
This is the replacement for dead PS. It is bigger than original one. They are both TFX.I wonder what is the purpose of all these standards if they are different anyway???I will make it fit. But I was expecting the replacement will not require sheet metal scissors, dremel, different screws.Hopefully it will last.

small form factor power supply
this is perfect for an HTPC, I removed 1 star as it was not modular, cables are long have to be quite inventive when compacting cable to minimize space.
