Works great, but get an extra box
Truly fantastic product. I used it for all the tile and the tub in my bathroom, it looks like a brand new installation for SO much less. Just be prepared to put in the work. It does say it will cover 125 sq ft, but if you double coat (you absolutely should) it doesn't get that far. Just buy an extra box, totally worth it.

Amazing and covered ugly blue bathtub / shower
This stuff works really well. We used it in our rental to cover an old blue 80s bathtub, instead of replacing it. It took 4 kits to cover it because it was a full enclosure with even a ceiling. But it worked. It smells really bad, like seriously nasty chemicals. You will need adequate ventilation and an N95 mask. This stuff is no joke. You also have a window of 3-4 hours before it hardens. If one person gets light headed from the crazy smell, it’s nice to have a second person to tag in. It covers really well, and it does not chip off over time with shower usage. We are going on one year, and it still looks great. I would recommend having lots of rollers available. The foam ones work best. This stuff is mega thick, and the rollers go bad quickly. You will also need sponge brushes for detail and tons of those because the thickness of the stuff will cause those to break a lot.

A new look
Finally after 16 years of living in this house we got rid of the "almond" color tub. Was it cheaper than finding a nice tub on FB Marketplace or somewhere else? Not sure. We had to end up purchasing two kits. I only needed 1/2 of one. As many other reviews mentioned, you will need several foam rollers. I had bought the foam brushes, no, that is not what you need. The product is thick and you will need at least a pack of 5-6 to complete a tub the size of mine. We have a window in our bathroom for ventilation so, we put a small fan in the window to blow any fumes out. The fumes were strong, but not as strong as expected. After the 1st & 2nd coats dried, I had a few grainy bumps, but the next day after i let it all dry, I was able to gently sand those spots down, so when I put the next coat on, it would be as smooth as possible. Many people have stated of dripping or running. I did not have any issues with that, maybe because of the amount of paint I rolled and did not load the roller with tons of paint at once. I also, watched some YouTube videos beforehand to make sure I did my best. The worst part is the tedious prep. Just be patient with yourself and it will come out nicely. So, we spent under $180 for two kits. If they made a smaller kit that only used half the solution as an option, that would be great. Many people stated they just needed 1/2 of another. And that is the same thing we encountered. If you have a smaller bath, 1 would be fine.

This is a great DIY product. Works as described.
I bought this kit to coat over a tired looking fiberglass 36” x 36” shower pan. I followed the instructions and the base turned out great. I only used half of the product on the base so I decided to mask the tile and coat the grout joints with the balance. It is great and bonded well to the porous grout. This is a great product.

Great product, note of caution
This review is based only on application, I will update later if it doesn’t wear well. The application process was easy, though you do have to be super meticulous with your taping and work in general. Prep is everything. If you don’t prep well, it won’t work. I specifically wanted to caution users that in some cases you need more than one foam roller per tub. I made the mistake of only having one 4” foam roller for each tub and the tip broke off. I was near the end of the project so I tried to finish and it resulted in lots of foam debris, which ruined my finish. The foam roller is NOT included in the kit, so I won’t hold it against this product, but thought I should caution people so you have enough materials to get the job done well.

This works and it works great!
First: don't breathe it in. Seriously. It's the most noxious fumes I've ever smelled ever. Second: this works AMAZINGLY. We had to refinish a tub that was approx 70 years old (steel/iron tub casted white) in a house where people had previously smoked for 30+ years. While we tore down every wall and sanded the paint off the ceilings we could never get the staining out the tub and there were chips from where we removed the previous sliding shower doors. This reglazed the tub to look like new. Absolutely easy to do and brilliant. Highly recommend.

Buyer be aware
What a waste of my time and money. Now I have look for a solution. I wanted this done for the holiday season. I had to purchase a second Kit, because the product once mixed, got rock hard by leaving it in the bottle I want extend it for a 3rd coating. The Paint peers off and it retains Stains wow.

Instructions were incorrect
Instructions in the box say you have one hour to apply paint once it’s mixed. I didn’t know how anyone could paint that fast and do a good job. I called the company, and the rep said I must be reading the instructions wrong, because you have three hours to use the paint once it’s mixed. She went and pulled a box from the warehouse, read the instructions herself, and realized they were printed incorrectly. So don’t be alarmed if you receive a box that says you only have one hour to paint, because I doubt if they will recall all the boxes they’ve sold to distributors and re-insert the correct instructions. This paint is NOT FOR A NOVICE PAINTER. Imagine if you mixed Elmer’s glue and honey and tried to paint with it. It was a nightmare……and I’m an experienced painter. The paint also does not go as far as advertised, as I almost didn’t have enough to finish the job. According to instructions, I should have had enough to paint a tub AND shower walls, and there was only enough to paint the tub. The fumes are overwhelming and last for days. You definitely MUST wear gloves, because if if gets on your skin it will not wash off. I would never attempt this again in order to save money. Whatever you have to pay for a professional to do the job is worth every cent!

Brilliant product. Instructions were great. There's a video on YouTube which was extremely helpful. Saved me buying a new bath. My bath was 1600 x 670 and had enough for nearly 3 coats . Great bit of kit

Haven't used this yet, but it's a good thing the paint was in the mixing container as it had been leaking, hopefully it will still be good.
