Perfect Sprinkler System For Northerners!!
PORTABLE SPRINKLER SYSTEMBeing a Southerner, and living in New England we found we couldn't install underground year round sprinkler systems we'd been used to in the South. Daily watering and changing sprinklers with arthritic hands was very inconveient. This is a great solution. I easily set the sprinkler/stakes in the lawn for summer, placing them where needed. This product is easy as pie to use. Each sprinkler head has adjustable spray settings. I linked 2 Packages of 3 sprinklers together without losing water pressure, Yippee for me! Less work! I'm back to order more for the front yard and dog run. I don't have to worry about the lawnmower ruining them or if they'll freeze and break in harsh winter weather. They'll be safe and stored in the basement for next year. Great price too!!P.S. I also ordered the quick connect/disconnect on the hose ends making it even easier! Be sure to look for them add them to your cart.

Worthless
It's hard to know whether the issue is terrible design or a production defect - in other words, whether it's just a bad product or my specific sprinkler was delivered broken. None of the sprinkler settings deliver anywhere near uniform coverage to the area they're intended to cover. Thin, uneven streams of water for all settings, with no stream rotation. I would say this product is not worth any amount of money, if it's actually supposed to work this way.

A+ for idea, B for functionality, D- for quality
Used it all last summer and was delighted to be able to set it up in a crescent shaped garden. It was admittedly a wet set up to get all the sprays in the right position, and they do clog occasionally, because there's no filter at the hose. But after all that, one twist of the faucet, and for weeks I could sit out and have a cool drink and watch as the garden is watered. My mother was delighted to come and water for us when we went on vacation because it was so easy. But, we just got the set out of the basement and it's a mess. The hoses all need to be replaced, and two of the heads are cracked. Apparently they don't hold up well to UV. Great that they're $20, but frankly my message to the company is: Make a more expensive set that goes at least a few seasons. I'd pay $90-100 if I knew it would last at least 3 seasons. I'd suggest making them brown, dark green or black, add a filter at the hose connector, make the heads rotate on top of the spike (so you can move the pattern without wrestling the hose into an awkward easily-kinked position), and add decent hoses. In spite of my criticism, I still like the system, AND there really doesn't seem to be anything out there that is better. That new noodle thing apparently only has one way in for the hose and only spreads about 8', so is impossible for a long narrow garden. But the no-go for me is that reviewers said the noodles moved from their position. No thanks.I am planning to try to rig a system with T connectors along the length of the garden and adding short lengths of smaller more flexible hose going to each head to avoid the turning/placement problem, and I've ordered more heads. It's not perfect, but it will work.

Doesn't get the job done
This product is terrible, the sprinklers are made of cheap plastic, one of the 3 broke the second time I used it. It also does a poor job of covering a large area. Each sprinkler head covers about a 10 foot diameter, keeping in mind they're only 5 feet apart so you only get about 10 x 20 feet of coverage. Really disappointing, already ordered a different sprinkler in hopes something else will do the trick, while my grass dies under the scorching heat.

A definite time saver, but you get what you pay for...
These sprinklers work, but I wouldn't use them for your lawn, unless you have a very small (less than 200 sq foot) area of lawn. I bought two sets, and use them for my garden. The six sprinklers manage to do the job, and make it easier for me to make garden watering a "turn on the valve and walk away" operation.I bought these sprinklers from Get Organized, via Amazon. Be prepared for a long wait. The company only ships via discount Ground, (actually a service that harnesses the U.S. Postal service) so it takes a while.*********Pros:* They're a definite time saver. I used to spend an hour (literraly, not exaggerating) to water my garden. Now I just turn on the valve.* You don't have to spend a big bucks on an installed system.* You can put them where you want them, and they will stay.* There are lots of spray options, so you can control where the water lands, to a certain extent.* They are made of very durable material. (I was surprised that they weren't flimsy.Cons:* They use a small diameter hose to connect. That means less water volume. You could get better performance if you changed out the hoses, but that would be expensive, for $20.00 sprinklers.* You will most likely still need another garden hose, unless what you want to water is within 6 feet of your faucet.*If you have a large area to water, you will be moving them often.*If you use them in your lawn, you will most likely leave holes, the stakes are pretty large to hold them in place.*They are very visible / high profile. They are definetly not "Out of sight out of mind."****************Final Thoughts:Overall a good product, and do what they are designed to do: Take water where you need it, even if you don't have sprinklers installed. They save me so much time, I would definitely buy them again.
