Amazing
Best coffee maker I've owned, so far! I have an early morning schedule, often needing to wake up at 3:30 or 4 in the morning so that I can be into work by 5.I Specifically went out to find a smart coffee maker that I could link to my smart home and this was the one I found. I didn't care too much for the grinder on top but it turned out to be a huge plus! The only thing I need to worry about with this machine is cleaning out the filter and it literally takes seconds to do. I was a little worried that grinding the beans at 4am would be a bother, but we're nearly a week into owning this thing and neither my fiance or I have been woken up once (we live in a small 1 bedroom apartment, the bedroom is roughly 30-40ft from the coffee maker), so safe to say it's relatively quiet -- compared to our standard counter-top grinder.Setting it up was a breeze, although not at all the way I'm used to setting up other devices. I read a review on here somewhere that said to literally hold the phone 'on' the sensor.. worked the first try so, thank you to whoever it was that commented that. I've gotten it work with Samsung Smartthings, Alexa, and Google. Only glitch is with Google -- the home app shows it as offline.. but the voice commands work just fine. With all three of these services, though, you have to treat it like it's a light or a tv.. "turn 'device' on." to brew your coffee.Overall, I'm very impressed with this coffee maker. 10/10 would recommend.Oh, and yes, there is a hole just at the top of the reservoir. Not sure what it's purpose is, but one full pot of water will fit without spilling.

Works as intended.
Not sure why everyone's knocking this coffee maker. Granted, mines only been in use for a couple weeks, but I'm happy with it. The network integration was tricky, but I learned that I just need to hold the blinking image right up against the face (almost no gap at all) and it connected fine.I like that there's no clock on the display. I thought that would bug me at first, but I have plenty of other timekeeping devices connected to wifi for that function.People are whining that they are prepping a pot which then eliminates the need for network integration. I prep my pot for brew the night before, that way, when I give my Echo unit the "Good morning" command, my lights will kick on and my pot will begin brewing immediately. Yes, this totally is a convenience thing, but I prefer to put the work in ahead of time the night prior, versus rushing in the morning. If people had better strategies to starting their day, maybe they'd have less to complain about. If things go south within a year, I'll edit my review. For now, I like it.

Love it!! Coffee maker with hopper and app. Great and Easy to setup!!
Outstanding product. Easy to setup. You can have the unit either grind the beans in the hopper or add your own ground coffee in the filter area. You can also control the fineness of the Grind. All of the controls available on the unit are accessible via their app. Loving it!!

Works Like A Coffee Pot.... But Not Without Quirks
Works like a normal coffee pot. Smart home integration works, but operations and controls with a Google Home configuration is somewhat half baked. Machine always shows offline in Google Home app, but accepts voice commands to make a pot. Let's talk about filling the tank. Why they didn't put an oversized water tank seems like an oversight. If I'm already next to the machine, refilling the tank every time I brew a pot, why would I use any smart options when there's buttons in the front of my face? If overfilling slightly, there's a weep hole in the bank, making for an uber wet morning.Bottom line. This can do what a $35 pot can do. The smart app and voice control are nice but frivolous, as they're better for showing off and not so much for practicality. If you were looking for a good smart coffee pot, wait until someone engineers one with a self emptying filter and an oversized water tank. Smart convenience is trumped by a poor design.
