Earth Sky & Water Poster - Peterson's Backyard Birds of The Desert Southwest

This poster seems expensive, but is of high quality, with fantastic images of many bird species. The birds are oil paintings (I think) and the artwork is stunning. Lots of these birds live in our neighborhood, so it's a lot of fun to look at it with the kids to determine which ones we've seen.I got our poster laminated at Office Depot for less than $3. We plan to mount it to foamboard, install it in a frame (once I build it), and hang it outside, closer to the birds.If you live in the southwest US and have an interest in the local and migratory birds, this is a great, single-sheet aid.

This beautiful poster is soo fun bcs it is specific to our area. Kids don't have to sort through a ton of unseen birds. It's beautiful and engaging. We have it laminated and hanging outside at school for kids to use and THEY DO.

We like it a lot, because we feed lots of birds every morning, and we enjoy watching them! I’ll be framing it soon and hanging it in our bedroom so we can easily identify birds that we don’t know! Thanks!

Purchased as a gift, we framed and hung this gorgeous poster next to a window near our bird feeders. It has been educational and fun to identify the species that frequent our backyard.
