Adafruit1626 LED Backlight Module, Small, 12 mm x 40 mm Size, White (Pack of 2)

Installed one in a BOSS TU-12H chromatic tuner that I modified to be able to use in the dark. Fits perfectly behind the analog display and the LED is so flat that I can still use the tuner with a 9 volt battery. Super bright and awesome :)

This provides a nice even light over a small area. It is only a single LED so it is not blindingly bright, but works well for its purpose.

This was not what I was expecting it to be, but it seams to be high quality and arrived in a very protected wrapping.

Perfect to use as a backlight for microscopic photography. The light is diffuse so there aren't any bright spots - nice even lighting. Works perfectly.

Used to replace a LED in my coffeemaker that lights the clock. It was easy to trim the panel to fit and initially it was a 5-star replacement part. However, after a year it's lost much of its brightness (failing diode?), and it's getting hard to even read the clock anymore.
