better for older kids
love the idea of these, i’m a big fan of boon, but since they are more leak proof it is harder to drink through the straw it requires more suck. not a good option for my 10 month old learning to use a straw but keeping it for toddler age.

Great next step!
These are great!! Having already had the Boon bottles from my baby registry, these are a perfect upgrade for baby who’s ready to move to sippy cup style! Love that they are a valves straw so no backwash and graduated drinking which allows for baby to not choke on water as they learn. Mostly spill proof though some does leak out of the straw a little but has been dropped on the floor and tipped upside down multiple times and doesn't spill! As an OT mama I love this option in place of a standard sippy cup

Strong suction needed, spills, convenient
I got these as a first straw cup for my boys since using the boon bottles. I love that the tops fit onto the bottles and I don’t have to buy all new cups! I will say you have to suck pretty hard compared to other cups to get liquid out (which could be good or bad for some) and my twins like to drop cups and these seem to leak puddles pretty quickly once dropped;(

It sucks, but not the way you want it to.
This new design of where the flow valve is located is great because my toddler used to chew the straw open. However, the silicone of the valve is too stiff. Like a lot of others say, no leak shouldn’t mean no flow. Even as an adult sipping on these straws, I have a difficult time drawing liquid. Even if I squeeze the bladder and have my toddler drink, he often gives up out of frustration. Wanted to love these, but it’s a loss for us.

No spilling
I love the Boon bottles for being so versatile & having the chance to turn the cup into a sippy cup with these sippy lids. It fits perfectly & they’re so easy to clean!! The quality is perfect in my opinion for my toddler & they function perfectly.

Hard to use, but I think I fixed it!
I really wanted to love these because we were given the boon bottles and they worked well for my baby. I want him to start using a straw cup now that he's past one and I loved the idea of using the bottles we already have. But when I got these and started using them, I was completely confused! Even I could not sip any liquid out of it. I tried several things to fix that, but ultimately what ended up working is taking tiny medical scissors, and cutting the tiniest part of one of the flaps inside of the lid so that more air and liquid could flow through. Now they seem to be working fine.

Love these!
Started out using the munchkin weighted straw cups and while they do work totally fine & are spill proof some of the lids we have are finicky and the straw is a pain in the butt to clean because of how small it is, IMO. When I saw these straw lid attachments I immediately got a 2 pack to see how my child liked them because we are in the process of incorporating whole milk instead of bottles and some other straw cups we tried were no go's. Baby loves these and I'm so happy because they're much easier to clean than the munchkin straw & I love that they have the closing lid so we can take them on outings and not worry about the straw touching something gross when not in use. Great way to re use the bottles we already have because we have a bunch! Definitely will be getting more!
