Does not live up to the Pfeil Brand.
It's hard to find a good Adze, and knowing how prestigious Pfeil carving tools are, I thought this was the perfect find. What happens when it gets here? Dull, very blunt Adze. Considering that an Adze isn't supposed to have too of a fined cutting edge since it is a tool that you use force to carve with, it can be understandable, but it was to blunt to cut. The upside is that it is a good weight on the Adze head making it easy to strike the wood without too much strain. It is very easy to grip on and you can tell that it is good metal. However, for something that shod have been able to function it's purpose with ease, spending over $160 on this tool is unreasonable.

Not what I really wanted. Bevel opposite from what I need.Have yet to use it. I will, for initial rough out though.

Good craftsmanship
Not razor-sharp but sharp enough 10 minutes with my stones and it was sharp . Good craftsmanship

Works great
Fast shipping. Works great on test pieces of wood, but have not used it on a project yet. Looking forward to many years of use.
