Such a shame
I’ve been looking for the perfect mobile controller for a while and this appeared to tick all the boxes. I have a Razer Kishi already but wanted a controller that meant I didn’t have to remove my case.Pros- can use with a case on iPhone XS Max- Bluetooth, can use as a separate controller- Comfy, fits really nice in the hands- Asthetics, looks great with phone in and very sturdyCons- controller lag!! Didn’t realise how bad this could be. Right analog stick is soo delayed- Buttons frequently don’t register presses, very frustrating as you have to press very intentionally and even then it might not work.- Shoulder buttons are so loud and clicky, oh and they frequently fail to registerSo disappointed because I thought I’d found my perfect controller but the input lag makes it unusable.

Phone gaming
Make sure you have a good spec phone and /or fast internet . Controls take a bit of getting used to.

Sticky burttons. Uncomfortable
Right trigger is sticky and didn't respond. May have been a faulty unit, but either way, had to send it back.

Works with Aethersx2 and Retroarch, S21 + P20Pro + P30Pro
Works on Huawei P20Pro, P30 Pro and Samsung S21 all tested with and all perfectly working.Feels well made, takes charge and lasts a really long time between charging!1 downside is no pass through for handset charging but that can either be adapted later or just take mobile out to charge so no biggy.Very happy with mine and recommended

Didn't work at all
I bought this thinking it could be the controller that I am looking for.It states iOS and android with bluetooth 5 and xbox cloud gaming. I tried it with my iPhone and it didn't work through Apple Arcade. This was in both bluetooth mode and xbox controller mode. More on that now. This will connect to your computer and iPad through bluetooth mode but you can't use it, it doesn't connect to iPad or computer using xbox controller mode so you can't see it or use it in that mode.I think the price for it being only a phone controller is too much, given you can buy an actual xbox controller for less.It is comfy though, the X and A buttons a little tricky to get to but you won't be competing on your phone with this controller really so nothing bad about that for casual gaming.I think it's a bit of misunderstanding from me, but also lack of explicitness from the company. This didn't work with Apple Arcade on iPhone and it doesn't work on iPad or MacBook. I would just buy an xbox or PS controller whatever your preference is.

A few issues let it down
Was looking for an iPhone controller that wasn’t as expensive as the Kishi or Backbone One but I guess you get what you pay for.The build quality and controls themselves is quite good. Triggers are a bit loud but it didn’t bother me too much. Deadzone on the sticks was a bit large, but workable. However, there were a few problems that I couldn’t over look:- the ABXY buttons wouldn’t work on the first press after you moved an analogue stick (this happened every time, so you’d jump, then move, and then you’d have to hit A twice to jump again)- the controller often crashed and would stop working and would have to be turned off and on again- one day the controller decided to stop connecting to my phone automatically (this made problem 2 even worse)
