Quick ship. I really prefer timesert over helicoil for certain things, especially plugged holes. Ended up using this on a set of 3piece rims and though it really does require precision when doing the threading, the process is really simple. I highly recommend buying new bolts whenever you do this as the threading is key here obviously. Also make sure you clean out your new taps EXTREMELY well because a few microns of debris will ruin your day.

Perfect fix for Rifle action screw holes
This is a high quality set. I used this to fix a front action screw hole on a long range precision rifle. After installing I was able to tighten the screw down to 55lbs of torche which is needed for accuracy.

It just works!
I restored a MG Midget and used this kit to repair stripped weld nuts and floating nut plates. Easy to use and does the job well without much effort. All you need is a tap wrench and some oil.

They work, and for certain applications they are better than a Heli-Coil.I used this to repair the grip-mounting screw threads on an AR-15 lower receiver.
