If you need something that will hold your book open, (really open!) this is it! After reading reviews from other customers on the different types of book weights and brackets you can purchase to hold your book open, and all the fails of what seemed like every type of book holder out there, I decided what I needed was a long, good quality clamp. I have a lot of art and cartooning books which tend to be larger than the average novel, so I decided to give these clamps a try. They work perfectly!!! Of course they can also hold smaller books like a novel, but I'm not sure I'd use it for that as they are pretty large clamps. Thanks to another customer review about the edges being a bit sharp on the clamp and adding packing tape to solve the problem, I decided to do the same, except with a little decorative style. LOL! I added cute washi tape to the edges of mine (see photo) and then put clear packing tape over the edges (as I wasn't sure if the washi tape would leave marks on my books pages which I didn't want to happen). The clamp is fantastic! It holds my art books open flat, doesn't have sharp edges because of the tape and looks super cute! Finally a book clamp that is large enough and strong enough to get the job done right.

Now that’s a dog bag clip! Works great and is huge, perfect for big bags of dog food. No more struggling with the silly potato chip clips! I’m totally sold on these!!

Like these clamps. The size it very useful and I do like the gold color instead of the usual clamp colors. I also like the metal instead of plastic. They are strong without being bulky. The clamp spring strength is enough for them to clamp securely. Being metal I may have to be careful about what materials I use them on as they might scratch, but so far they are perfect for the cloth items I am using them for.

It’s good overall. Does what it needs to do. Super long and sturdy. Only issue is some parts and pieces had rusting on it. I’m not too concerned about it, but it doesn’t come sparkling.

We have had the for three years now. So they have really been put to the test. With one we use it to clip the 22lb bags of dry dog food closed after doing a fold over. So with 3 dogs it has been used with every single bag change. So there have been a ton of bag changes (one a week) over that time period. It is still going strong. Impressive! The other one we use to clip a bag of charcoal closed. It really has not been punished as the past years it has just been to hot to cook out. Or maybe we are just getting old and feeling the heat more. But it still looks brand new and the spring is strong as ever. Kudos! So yes, I say get them.

Very strong clips. I bought them specifically to firmly hold closed large very thick papered bags of 10 - 15kg of dried dog & cat food to keep the contents fresh. I cut the top off nice and neatly, take what I want with a scoop, then fold the pack over at least twice. These clips hold the folds very well stopping dust or air getting into the bags. Ordinary bulldog clips don't open wide enough to clip the thickness of 2 folds but these do. Pleased with the quality and happy with my purchase
