If you need crutches, get these ones!
If you’re looking for crutches, then you should get these ones. They are a bit pricier, but so worth it!After having to go on crutches again after using traditional crutches, I knew I couldn’t go back. So I started looking at forearm crutches for a trip to Europe where wheelchairs are impossible to use. They are perfect for traveling because they are light weight, fold up and are easy to put in an over head bin, or carry on your lap when using a wheelchair, or don’t have a place to rest them (like in my second pic). Best part is they don’t make that dreaded aluminum sound that announce when you’re arriving on crutches. I even showed them to my doctor who was impressed by them and now recommends them to all his patients that need them! I couldn’t have made it through my trip without these.I do recommend getting the pads with the straps on them to hold your arm in from vive. I just slip my arms in and off I go!

Great! However not for everyone.
I was having shoulder and arm problems and was unable to use regular crutches. I needed something to help me get around and my cane was no good because there was no support at all. So I searched Amazon and saw these. Even though they are sold separately, I decided to give them a try. That was the best decision for me! Because of the design I could see how other people could have problems with this item. That is only because it doesn’t loop around your forearms. That was actually one of the selling points for me. The product is lightweight, very strong, and durable. It is easy to fold away and put into the little storage container provided now that I’m not using them. I got a good five months of using these under my belt. Even when I got to the point that I could use my regular cane I still use just one of these because of the extra support that it offers.

100% worth the price
I have absolutely no regrets in buying these (I bought and use 2). I didn’t want to spend the money before, but now I wish I had because these are such a game changer. I tried a similar style for half the price but returned those to buy these.Pros: fold, light, stable, simple, comfy grip, comes with bag, silentCons: only comes with 1, no strapThe first thing I love is that they fold. That was what I was initially looking for. I was sick of scuffing up my car interior when lifting my crutches across the steering wheel and dashboard to put in the passenger seat. The next thing I love is the balance between lightweight and feel of stability. The other ones I tried were more lightweight, but I felt unstable. These are a little heavier but are very stable. The simplicity of the crutch is great too. It has all of the essentials to a crutch plus a comfy grip. It comes with a bag (which I haven’t tried yet) Lastly, they’re quiet! Being on crutches already draws unwanted attention, but it sucks when everyone hears me whenever I’m trying to move around. One con for me are that it only comes with one. I totally get why it’s sold that way, and it actually should be a pro. However, for me, it was inconvenient. The other thing I wish it had was a strap so I could turn lights and pick things up conveniently. The pros ridiculously outweigh the cons. This product is ideal, ESPECIALLY if you use crutches a lot (which I do).

If you need crutches for more than a 15 foot walk, don't get these.
I'm not a big guy, 150 lbs and 5' 10", with a hip disarticulation (full hip and below amputee). I put in serious work on crutches, roughly 4-6 miles of exercise each day. I paid $130 for the pair, which alone is outrageous, but when my service dog and I went for a walk on the first night having them, I turned around after a half mile and switched them out for my standard set. First, my hands were incredibly sore from the rock-hard hand grips. Secondly, the forearm holders are not adjustable, so the crutches have nearly no stability and the sweat from my arms made them even slicker being they are made from hard plastic. They are lightweight, which no one who uses crutches cares about, and of course, they collapse. Which would be nice if everything else I mentioned was not an issue. But, if you just sprained an ankle and need to get around your home, perhaps these would work. Anything other than that... do not purchase these.

Comfortable, great for travel
For traveling, especially flying, but also for regular use — I like this lightweight, foldable, comfortable crutch/cane. Way more stable than canes with no forearm support.I have cuff crutches and smartCRUTCH crutches, too, but these are often my go-to. I have two of them. For traveling, I like that they’re easy enough for me to fold up by myself. But with the disclaimer that I don’t have as much difficulty with my hands as I do with the rest of my body, so YMMV. I’ve had these for a year now with no complaints.Travel bonus: when folded and stored in their bag, they fit easily into an overhead compartment or under the seat in an airplane, so you don’t have to hand them over to a flight attendant.
