A good replica. But isn't the best thing. The price should've been a bit lower, but given the packaging, booklet ₹1200 is i think justified.

This is excellent even if you get this item for the Darth Vadar figurine only. The figurine is made with sold material and looks very good. The book isn’t that great, but there are a few classic quotes for the die hard StarWars fans.

Bought on impulse to be honest as I am a big Vader fan and have a Vader focus in the collection that contains not only 3 3/4 figures but other items that vary from 12" statues, soft vinyl kits and the awesome 32" Vader.I had seen this a few times on searches and decided to go for it being on prime and a few pounds off the RRP. What you get (in roughly estimated sizes as I do not have the box with me at present) is a window box that is roughly 6" tall and 5" wide. The front of the box pulls away from the rear to reveal the figure clasped between to clear plastic shells. After removing the figure and shell the rear of the box can be used as a diorama stand as the back of the box projects 90 degrees outwards at the bottom, the visible display area being lightsaber red. The verticle rear of the stand / box insert is hollow in the middle with openings at either end and a provided booklet can be found in this gap.The figure is removed from the clam shell clear plastic and can be pulled out with not much effort. The figure is in the are of 4" to 5" tall and looks to be made from some kind of resin as it is surprisingly heavy. A well cast item and looks to be hand painted on the chest plate, chest box and belt detail, the saber is hooked onto the belt and integeral to the whole casting. The only major faults I can see are a little flattening of the rear of the helmet near the back of the neck and the left boot sole seems a tad thick giving a block heel look but that could be sanded down and touched up with paint. There is a good distinction between the different shades or tones of black on this figure from gloss shine for the armour, silk for the jump suit and near matt for the gloak. The rendering is quite nice for the scale and the figure is well balanced and does not need additional support to stand freely. The box rear diorama sets him off nicely but I wont be using that feature when the figure goes in the collection.The second feature is the supplied small format booklet that is roughly 4 1/2" tall and contains around 10 to 15 pages, it is simply a collection of Vader pictures from the original trilogy that where press release images, movie stills and some behind the scene images. Of the images in the book that stick out in my mind, the scene from A New Hope in '77 where Vader questions an Imperial Officer outside the Falcon in the Death Star Hanger bay. In that scene Vader is seen wearing his cloak, in the book image Vader is not wearing his cloak and his shoulder armour is visible. Another image is from Empire where Luke is hanging from the weather vain and Vader is reaching out to him, the image has been reversed so Luke is on the left instead of the right and vader is using his left hand instead of hi right. The Images all seem to be from the Original Trilogy, as do the quotes that cover nearly every page.On the whole, I really like this as a novely Vader statue, maybe a little more than I would pay at the moment for a boxed statue but as simple as the book is, it pushes the justification up so it seems worthy of the asking price.I will add pictures at a later date.

This was a gift I got someone for his birthday who's a big Star Wars fan and he absolutely loved it. He told me this morning that he's gotten several comments on how neat it is. He plans on keeping it on his desk for now.It was smaller than I thought it would be but very detailed. For the money it can't be beat!Recommended - I would rate this a very solid 4 to 4.5 out of 5 stars.
