Item worked exactly as advertised, exactly as expected, for exactly two weeks. On day 15 it stopped working at all and garnered its 1 Star rating.Update: After working with the device, I have found that there seems to be a loose connection in the control wire that runs from the controller to the control box plugged into the wall. With a little work, I have overcome the issue and the unit works reasonably well.That said, I have to comment about the quick and persistent customer service I received from this seller. Upon reading my review they offered me a replacement immediately. When I did not reply they contacted me again asking how they can make things right. I replied to them that in that the unit is now in use, I don't believe that they owe me a replacement, but I am impressed that their customer care team was so tenacious in their follow-up with me. I would buy again from them because of their obvious and sincere concern that their customers are satisfied with their purchases.

Hate that it doesnt come on after 5 or 6 touches. Ordered 2 and the other one causes thw light to flicker only. That one was for a senior who is in an assisted living apartment.

Unit is easy to install and use. Fair price. However, it doesn't seem to actually turn off the light completely, as my lamp still has a dim light even at the lowest setting. I would have expected it to have a completely "off" setting.

This is what I needed, what a great dimmer. This switch was so easy to install.

I have several lamps to which I’ve added slide-style dimmer switches, so this was a new item for me to try. I wasn’t sure if I’d need a 3-way bulb for the hi-med-low settings, but it turns out I don’t! Right now it’s being usually with an incandescent bulb, but I also use LEDs in the lamp it’s on so I expect I’ll get the same result. It was very easy to install, it takes up very little space on the nightstand where it’s placed, it’s sleek and small so it’s not obvious or an eyesore, and it has a good non-slip grip underside so I was able to place it on a back corner of a nightstand where my daughter can easily reach it from bed as she’s dozing off while reading (without sitting up). The dimming feature has shown to be reliable, the brightness levels are perfect, and we have no issues with any flickering. This seems to be a good value, so I hope it lasts a very long time!

I did really enjoy having this dimmer for night time reading, etc. but the touch dimmer stopped working after about 6 months. It's inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

Extreme fast delivery/Works gr8/I am using it to dim patio lights/ gives a like at night beside campfire effect. Because I am using outdoors I have modified unit using crazy glue to keep dimmer control fastened to face of unit , while keeping the control leads still package tied. Have waterproofed seams in plug unit with crazy glue and hope it will keep unit working in my sheltered from rain location . Very pleased with item and the low purchase price.

Bought this for my 90yr old mum. She can’t turn the lights off with the switch so I tried this. Much easier for her to turn on or off the lights now. :)

I really liked the idea of having my table lamp dimmable, but the item stopped working after a month of use.

Used several times with no success. Touch pad can be tempermental. Have only used a few times so cannot comment on longterm viability.
