The book does 3 things in a great manner, it does explore more of Cliff Booth, it talks a lot about those 60'sTV shows and 60's Hollywood and until the last chapter the chemistry between Rick Dalton and Mirabella is taken to new heights. To me, I liked last chapter the best. Also, while book has some mention of movie incidents, the book is totally different. Loved it!! The vivid description of western tv shows made me wish he makes Bounty Law as his 10th movie or I will even be okay if he makes remake of Lancer!!! better than the movie

Enjoyable even if you don't know much about Hollywood 1969...
It feels like an extended version of the movie. A lot of additional things to explore, a lot of things that Tarentino changed the presentation for this novel, a lot of backstories and a lot of names of random actors that you probably don't know about. In other words I can say sometimes funny, sometimes suspense, sometimes boring and sometimes better than movie.

QT’s First Book and It’s Amazing!
The quality of the book is really good! The writing is beautiful. Some chapters have been added in to the story which were not there in the original movie. A must read for all tarantino fans out there!

Libro letto tutto d'un fiato (versione in lingua originale inglese). Se amate il cinema di Tarantino e soprattutto se avete amato Once upon a time in Hollywood, non lasciatevi scappare questo libro. È una perfetta integrazione in parole di quanto avete visto al cinema.

"Master Quentin" en todo su esplendor. Quentin es un escritor hecho y derecho. Divertido, inteligente y con mucha profundidad. Magnífica lectura.

Se nota que Tarantino está más acostumbrado a escribir guiones por su estilo de narrativa, pero pronto te acostumbras. No es una obra maestra literaria ni tampoco lo pretende, pero enganchará bien fuerte a todo aquel que se considere seguidor del famoso director. Lo mejor es la adición de "escenas inéditas" que no aparecen en la peli, casi todas centradas en Cliff Booth y en la pequeña actriz que trabaja con Rick Dalton en el piloto de Lancer(que, seamos honestos, son los personajes que más molan de esta historia).
