Used a pair of these flanges for an unconventional "reverse" structural application, where the underside supports a lid on a plastic tote, so as to protect the delicate electronic components being transported inside the tote. A good deal more attractive than either galvanized iron or black gas pipe floor flanges.

Nice and thick, so I was able to make a strong pedestal seat for my boat. However, they don't really sit flush since they are a little bowed.

The item I received was a 2 1/2in flange!!!! Not 1/2in! A label on the parts sealed plastic envelope says 1/2" BUT the part itself is marked 2 1/2in. Other numbers on the label are B00801YXUU. Another label on the plastic envelope shows 851-025. The part measures almost 7in across. A 1/2in flange should be about 1 1/2in across. Someone not reading/thinking in the inventory & shipping chain of events. Not worth returning for $6.95. Good for a paper weight/conversation piece/pseudo Frisbee.

worked well for my project, I was not aware that pipe fitting spins in the flange. It stops turning when flange is clamped down

I used this to make a stand to hold lighting by attaching it to a piece of wood and then inserted a piece of 1 1/4 PVC into it.

Very sturdy. The 4 I ordered arrived in 3 packages.

Well made. I did not realize the center piece would spin in the outer flange but I was able to make it work.
