I have an extra large console on my Proform treadmill. I wanted to read while I walk and this was the only product I found that looked large enough to fit. It fit perfectly. and the deeper bottom ledge holds the pages open. Added plus, it is clear and my husband who also walks on the treadmill can see his own controls through it. Absolute answer to my need!

If you have a treadmill, elliptical, or other exercise device with a large/deep console, this holder is great for holding an iPad or book so you can watch/read while exercising. The lips are just the right size and the width of the part that hangs over the console makes it quite stable. For my iPad use, I added a bit of clear packaging tape from the top back edge of the holder to the back of the elliptical's console to keep the holder from moving even a fraction of an inch. I also put some clear plastic bumpers on the front of the elliptical's console to keep the weight of the holder/iPad from pushing the console's buttons underneath the holder.

The extra wide top slips over most gym machines, treadmills, bike, arc, eliptical. If they could create something that will hold your pages down (especially when first starting or close to ending your book) so you can read it hands-free, there would be nothing to improve. Maybe make the lip where the book sits a little higher and add something to it to keep the book fully open?

This is a very high quality item and sturdy material. I ended up returning it as it wasn’t too stable when I had it on the treadmill console (not the best secure fit) and my tablet was too unsteady. If you do consider this, be sure that you can see your console controls (some treadmills have the screen lower) as I was unable to see the speed, etc and I needed to lift the rack to see what my adjustments were (such as speed, etc). I was unable to manage that while also moving on treadmill.

This holder is the only one I could locate that worked with the oversize console on my Sole treadmill. It works great! Just finding a vendor that listed this dimension was difficult.
