Allen wrenches are used so much at my place of employment, pretty much they're in your pocket all the time. I recently used these for a major project and they were fantastic. I had to replace over a hundred 5/32" internal hex flat-head cap screws, all secured with blue Loctite. Over all, the wrenches have proven to be: - Strong. Many of the screws for the project were on there good and the wrench would flex, but it never broke - Machined to a tight tolerance. The hex can be difficult to insert into a worn head, but once in, there's no slop, which means less chance of stripping the screw. Getting it out might require a little wiggling, too, which isn't a bad thing. - Built for leverage. The extra length goes a long way in both loosening and tightening. Not much longer than the set it replaced, but enough to feel a difference. - Tough. Haven't bent or stripped a wrench, nor broken a ball-end offA few more things, the finish hasn't flaked, so I'm assuming they're highly polished, not chromed. A reviewer found them to be slippery compared to black finished ones, I don't find that to be true. Finally, a reviewer said they snapped off the ball ends; I'm not doubting them, but to do so would require very serious torque and if you're going to be using serious torque, then tighten/loosen using the flat end instead of the ball end.I was hesitant to spend the extra money on these, but they're performance on the job has made me thankful that I did.
