Still working great, other item i bought was plastic and leaked within months. This still is holding up and is easier to shut off and on than it appears. Was worth the cost.

This product did not last. It totally fell apart. I only used for a couple of months.

The product is nice, the little valve levers operate easily, and it came with four extra hose washers which is a nice touch. All to the good.The actual valves in each hose outlet have an opening that's only 8mm (5/16") inner diameter, so present a significant flow restriction. For our duty, with one connection going to a drip-irrigation controller, the restriction will make no difference. The other leg will have a coiled PE hose with a standard nozzle for watering on it, and the hose has a 10mm (about 3/8") so will present almost no extra restriction. If you plan to have full flow through a 5/8" (about 16mm) garden hose, the valves in this Y splitter will reduce available flow much more. The available cross-section area of the valve is about 25% of the 5/8" hose itself. It's unlikely that the actual flow will be reduced by 75%, thanks to other restrictions like the supply valve and the nozzle at the end of the hose, and any other connectors you might be using.If you have large plumbing (3/4" or larger) feeding a full-flow "garden valve", the restriction in the splitter valves will be a lot more apparent.All that said, I've seen no common splitters with valves that offer inner valve diameters much bigger than 13mm (about half an inch.). Those do offer well more than twice the flow capability of this one. So be aware, and shop based on the flow demands you'll expect in service. For us, the two we bought for slow watering will be just fine. But no yard sprinkler or car washing duty for this one at least at our place.

Used these with my soaker hose and normal hose. Super easy to install, no leaks, great quality and simple to use. Fit perfectly and had adequate water pressure.

It's crazy how these requires plumber's tape to stop leaking when the cheap ones from local hardware store works perfectly. Don't waste your time on this. If I could go back in time, I'd settle for one with plastic parts if it meant that it fit better with connectors and attachments. This is a real pain.
