Bought this because I hated the new style of Vionic slippers, which were ugly. The price was significantly less. It feels cheaper on, but does support my arch and it looks good.

These are very nice slippers. They're warm. They have good traction. They are comfortable with the heel cup. You really need to follow the directions for wearing them briefly when you first wear them. It takes a little time to get used to the arch support. I have had mine a while now. I finished the 'break in period'. Now, I wear them the entire day. Love them! I've just had LVF installed in the kitchen and laundry room. I'm in the basement frequently. It's just office berber carpet glued down to the cement. These slippers absorb all of the shock. They're the best slippers I've ever had. On my right foot, I have a bunion, Morton's Neuroma, and plantar fasciitis too. Multiple injections. What's also nice is you can open the top portion that is velcrod, and adjust them. Barefoot they are fastened narrow. With regular socks medium adjusted. When I wear my thick wool socks and I make them wider. I'm about to purchase a second pair, so I can change them out when I wash and drip-dry the first pair.

I had surgery on both feet a while ago and still can’t comfortably go barefoot at home. I needed slippers with arch support, and these definitely provide. The arch support is solid so it hasn’t worn down over time, and it’s supportive but not so high that it’s uncomfortable. My only issue is that the faux fur lining is a little too soft, meaning it can be slippery, both barefoot and with socks. I’ve slipped sideways a few times and slid off of the open heel, bending my ankles at a bad angle; thankfully no injuries but after two foot surgeries I’d really like to not fall or re-injure anything. I do like these slippers but took off a star for the slipping.

UPDATE: I have had these a few months now & I changed my review to 5 star. I love these slippers. Would buy again!!!! PREVIOUS: I have only had these one day, but here is my review. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because I have not had them long enough to know for sure. I will come back & update latter. They seem to be true to size, as the size I ordered is the size I usually wear in a regular shoe. The footbed at first seems hard, but after walking in them awhile seems to be comfortable. They have a thick hard sole, so you could wear them outside if needed. They have a good arch support & heel cup (so your feet do not slide around). The arch support seemed a little high, but my feet are quickly getting use to it & starting to feel comfortable with it. I have wide feet & the Velcro strap fits perfect (without having to strap to the very end of the velcro). They would be good for someone with wide to extra wide feet. If you have normal feet width, I suspect they would fit fine, but narrow feet IDK if the smallest Velcro fitting would be considered narrow. I do not like my feet to get too hot (hence the open toe) & the fur seems to keep my feet warm for the winter (not too hot), but I suspect they will be too hot for summer wear. I would buy them again, but it would be nice to find them in a fabric suited for summer wear (not furry & not hot). I can not speak of their longevity, only time will tell.
