Sooo quiet and easy to us.
I really like this pet nail grinder. I have an 8 year old beagle I adopted last July. Recently we found out she was diabetic. I hated to put anymore stress on her, but her nails grow so fast it seemed like we were always running to get them clipped. Decided to try these to save time, money and stress on her. The first time I tried them on her, she was not happy, but she didn’t give me a lot of resistant and I think that’s because the motor is so quiet. I like the dust filter and how it pulls the dust in and collects the dust instead of it getting all over. I only did her front paws, just to make it easy on her. The next day, she was curled up beside me on the couch and I picked the grinder up off the table and did her back paws while she laid there. She jumped one time, but that was it, but I think I tickled the hair between her paw pads. I don’t know what took me so long to purchase this. A charge will last 6 hours but the trim takes no time, so you don’t have to worry about it not being charged for the next time. Good purchase.

Wonderful pet nail grinder!
We have a new puppy, with claws like a hawk! We need to start clipping and grinding her nails now, so she can get used to it. We were going to wait until her first grooming and let the groomer do it. But, we can't take the damage to the upholstery and our skin! This pet nail grinder by FRYA is perfect. The variable speed motor is nice and quiet. It's easy to handle. Holds a charge for a long time. The grinder cover has a small hole on one side for making sure that you only get the tips and don't go into the quick. Then, the other side is completely open. This grinder actually draws air in through the head and has a little filter disc inside to catch the grindings. (It comes with two. And, I think that they can be gently rinsed clean and reused.)Our little pup adapted to this very easily and we don't have any problem getting the sharp hooks filed off of her nails. So, good purchase. Five stars.

4 Cat Approved
So far my 3 cats have allowed me to complete the nail grind without even a whimper and no retract paw like when using clippers. My biggest test is my 22 yr old male cat with nails like rivets and one that likes to grow into his paw. I have to clip him weekly so going to try this grinder now... brb...ok so i was able to file down his nails on highest setting. Not noisy and he was more comfortable. The one nail that is my problem child is going to have to be clipped and then filed. Hint**** I put a dab of Oral-Gel on nail and rub into cuticle area prior to clip to help numb area and he thinks he is at nail salon. Grinder is good. I like it. Works well. Sturdy, made well, easy for me to handle and hold cat at same time. Good price too. Thanks!

does the job
My daughter is a groomer , but I wanted to be able to do my own dog's nail , so she does not have to groom all day then come home & groom some more , since my dogs & bird is used to being groomed /nails done they are used to the noise & smell , but I did not want to spend lots of money for some thing I am not going to use that much but I also wanted some thing that worked , so I seen this & brought it & has so far working out great , so win win

Very quiet, good size
It is very quiet and it is a good size to hold- not too big or too small. I am getting my dogs used to the sound and will try it on them soon. I like that the heads a replaceable - my old nail tool had like sandpaper rings that fit on and they sometimes slipped and were hard to swap out + I had to order them. Old one I was using was very big - hard to hold and very loud. This one is a big improvement! Thanks

Easy to use
Omg it was so easy to use. I was worried a little before using it, because my dog hates when I clip his nails. But with this, he was totally fine with it. At first, he was little scared, because it’s something new, but eventually he got used to it. Im really happy that I got this. It made my life so much easier. Highly recommend if your dog doesn’t like to clip their nails.

A great product for a great price, a must own for dog owners.
Would highly recommend this to anyone with a dog, especially ones that aren't fans of having their nails cut with traditional nail clippers like my dog. I used it last night for the first time & was more than happy with it's performance. Straight forward & easy to understand instructions, very easy to use, noise level is very low. My dog's nails were grown out pretty fair due to hating normal clippers & she didn't have a problem with me using this at all & it grinded them down quickly & with ease. Also the built in vacuum feature made it so there was little to no mess to clean up afterwards.Only negative is it's not the most comfortable thing to hold for long periods of time but not enough so to effect the 5 star rating I'm giving it!

Quiet, easy to use!
We have a 10 week old puppy. We have been handling her paws and using the tool to try and desensitize her to trimmings. The sound is very quiet and it seems to be a very gentle product. Our puppy is a golden retriever and I did notice that her paw fur got sucked in when I was using it. We have never used a product like this so I am unsure what others are like, the opening is small and the guard around it is a nice feature.

My cat lets me file her nails!
I broke out in a cold sweat when I had to 'snap' my cats nails with the clipper. This tool says FYRA Dog Grinder but it works for cats too and does not scare either of us. She lets me use it on her and that's as much as anyone can ask for. It is not noisy. I was sure to have treats ready to reward her and it went really well. Glad I purchased this.
