Just learning how to knit. Have been watching youtube videos but also wanted a reference book. This book is terrific. Very useful information regarding tools, yarn, blocking and tips on how to avoid/correct common mistakes. I appreciated the recommendation for what needles to start with and what needles to eventually work up to. I like the progression of the projects, starting with the very basics and then building upon each new skill. Since I zero experience knitting, I was happy to learn about the different knitting tools that I would never have thought of. Most of all, I find the knitting instructions for each project to be clearly written and easy to follow. Author did a really good job explaining the 'knitting lingo'. Highly recommend if this is your first attempt at knitting.

Appears to be a good book. However I you are like me I need someone to show me then using a book is helpful. The person using it feels that she does need demonstration but uses the book as back up

Shipping was timely and the book is in very good condition. Knitting 101 is informative and helpful as I am just learning how to knit.

I have found this book to be very helpful and the step by step easy to follow. A selling point for me was the spiral binding. However because of the hard cover the book cannot be folded over making the spiral binding useless.
