I have to give those storage bench 5 stars! I was hesitant to purchase but I’m so glad I did! It was very easy to put together, I was able to do it by myself fairly quickly. It’s been the perfect size to hold our outdoor shoes and other equipment and is very sturdy! It looks nice too, I’ve received several compliments on it!

Very sturdy easy assembly and keeps stuff dry

I really love this bench. I needed to store pool supplies in it and I was pleasantly surprised how much it can hold. I didn’t want another big bulky thing taking up space on our deck so I am very happy that it is a bench that can seat our guests. It looks very nice as well but the reasons for my 4 stars instead of 5 were because first, it was very difficult to put together. My husband and I struggled with it especially because so many pieces needed to be snapped in. Also, some of the pre-drilled holes weren’t drilled so we had to drill them ourselves. The other reason for the lack of star was the bottom of the storage compartment. It doesn’t seem sturdy and it’s made out of a material that looks like it wouldn’t stand up to a lot of weight or the presence of water. We haven’t had any bad weather and so far it’s been ok. Not sure how it will be in the snow though.

Easy to assemble. Durable. Comfortable. Stores several loads of firewood and kept it dry in a bad windy thunderstorm with torrential rain! We’re buying a second one.

After lots of research, we chose this bench! And let me tell you, it was the best choice, even though the package was a bit up, the pieces were intact, so good packaging, instructions were straightforward, my son and I got it done under 40 minutes, it was already dark, and we were exhausted from organizing our garage. If you work in the manufacturing industry like I do, you know that there’s plastic and then there’s PLASTIC. The best way to describe it is you can make anything out of plastic, but the plastic can either be soft or firm. Think of the difference between the plastic your child’s toys might be made out of the plastic or synthetic material. You might see on the interior of your car. You noticed the difference you see the difference. This Falls in the middle. Not the most expensive plastic you can get, but it’s also not the cheapest plastic you can get. I thought this product would be more similar to a fake wooden bench. No, it’s a plastic bench. As soon as you sit on it, you can tell when you assemble it you can tell it’s plastic. It’s actually a bit overpriced I think it gets the job done for what it should be 70 gallons of storage in a well hidden fashion. Depending on your needs, it could work. Read the rest of my review below. The assembly process is straightforward there are a few screws. You have to use to assemble the product to usually hold metal bars in place, but for the most part, everything slides and snaps on click click click. It’s a well thought out design, but I urge you to remember this is plastic or synthetic material. I did have one issue during the assembly process when you make plastic like this the manufacturer usually injection molds the plastic so they have to make sure that all the edges are rounded off properly. They have to make sure all the holes that might be necessary for the assembly process or complete. Usually have a de-burning machine or some sort and a wuality check. Well, I got 2 pieces that failed quality check. Easy to fix in one case you literally just had to snap off a tiny bit of plastic on an edge and make room for a screw hole. Nothing major. On the bottom of the bench where you put 12 screws total in8 of my screw holes weren’t there you could see they should be there the outline of where they should be clearly visible, but they were never punched through. No, I’ll be the first to admit. I am no carpenter. I work in Finance in the automotive industry and I used to be an engineer years ago this wasn’t something that was hard to fix, but it was a quality check that was missed. Functionality wise it does what it should do a simple sturdy bench that has storage. I’ll admit some people in my family are a bit on the hefty side. They are afraid to sit on. It can’t say I blame them it’s a hollo Assembly. Anyone who purchased it will notice that from the beginning you can pick it up by yourself if you’re an average strength male, it doesn’t have a lot of heft to it, but it has functionality. The kids in the family Will sit on it, and I will store my barbecue equipment in it.

I am so happy with this storage bench. First of all, the color is fantastic. It matches the dark wooden beams in our house and fits with the decor in the living room. It does not look like an outdoor bench in my opinion, it can work inside just fine. Second, I was able to install this all on my own, and I struggle to assemble things sometimes. I didn’t need any fancy tools, I just followed the directions and slapped some things into place (literally slapped it with my hand to get it into position). Third, our cats love it as a sitting area next to the dining room table, and they can look out the window by the front door. We add a cushion on the seat for them, and open the curtains. I could see dogs enjoying that just the same. Finally, and most importantly: it’s fantastic for storage! I will say, it does not look sturdy enough to hold super heavy items. The plank at the bottom is not solid hard plastic, it is light weight and seemed like it might bend or give away if we put something heavy inside. I keep reusable grocery bags in there along with blankets and pillows and it works great for us. Highly recommend this if you’re tight on storage and have a lot of empty space in a living room area!

We needed an outside weather-proof toy box for the back porch. We got the graphite color with a gray lid and it looked just like the photos. Its a good size and fits various wiffle ball, corn-hole, beach ball, and the usual sand-box toys for our grandson. It wasn't the easiest kit to put together, but my wife and I put it together in about 45 min. The problem I have with it is it is sooo flimsy I have to wonder how long it will be useful as a bench. They advertise it holds 550lbs but I'm not going there and still expect good results. The support bars give it some strength once put together but the seat area is all plastic and no doubt in my mind it will eventually warp and not seal, but for now all works as advertised so I give it four stars and after a couple of hot summers use I will update this to confirm my suspicions. As an added tip: Do not use an electric drill to assemble this as you will likely strip the screw. I used one just to reduce the number of turns and then tightened by hand with a screwdriver. If I can get five years out of this I will be happy, but surprised.
