Unbeatable value!
The unit looks great, feels great. Updates are available all the time and easy to use. Full bidirectional controls and functional tests on just about every car, especially Euro. Code searches to Google can now be done from the tool. The wireless VCI is awesome addition, no wires. We have many other scan tools paying thousands of dollars for these other scanners, updates and these scan tools don’t even do what this scanner does. Great Main scan tool for any shop or DIYer

Feature packed scanner with lightning fast support!
I’ve been using the k10 with a handful of the available accessories (bore scope, tpms wand, battery/charging/starting test clamps & printer) for a few months now. It’s been a great experience and I would say the k10 is a good upgrade from the k6pro that I’d been using before. Full wireless was worth loosing the all-in-one of the k6. Plus the k10 has more functions and a larger screen to see data with. Makes diag much easier and accurate. Battery tester data lines up with our shops tester, borescope picture is very clear, tpms works almost as good as the shops snap on tpms4 unit, then the thermal printer is a life a saver when the shop printer is down(like 75% of the time). It gets frequent updates for all the brands.I did run into a small issue connecting to an fca car but support was able to push an update out the next day that corrected my issue and they helped me with getting the k10 added to my autoauth account. Couldn’t have asked my more of support, true top tier service! All in all, the k10 is an amazing scanner and Kingbolen provides top notch support. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebuy my k10 if something happened to it tomorrow. I will eventually get the oscilloscope add on and be able to use all functions that the scanner can offer.

Great tool for the money.
Very good scan tool. My only complaint is that I wish it had a web browser as a main component, that way you could look up wiring and specs on vehicles without needing a different tool. Haven't used tech support so cannot rate that. Do wish they has some extra videos or directions on things like removal of the vehicles that you would never use in the US.

trouble from starting unit
The unit looks great, feels great. nice display,I had to get tec support to help me log into unit. Then most of the topology blocks were not reading on two different cars. Example ; auto trans , abs, electric parking break and a load of others not working . then the BT connection didn't connect. spent a while talking to support a number of times and they gave up. I had WYFI connection and support could not connect to the computer. So I gave up and now returning the unit. I liked the option to connect a printer in the rear of the unit.

Professional Level Capabilities at a Prosumer Price!
I am a DIY vehicle repair/hobbyist and an Electronics Engineer, so I was always getting frustrated when I couldn't really do full scans of my own vehicles. I have an innate need to know exactly how my electronic equipment work and function (including my vehicles) so I finally decided to buy a worthy scanner/encoder/and programmer. I used this on a 2016 Highlander, a 2020 4Runner, and a 2010 F150. Each vehicle had different levels of electronic hardware and capabilities which were apparent when you do the topology scan, as well as different levels of function testing, and coding changes that you could perform on each vehicle. The topology scan feature was the clincher that made me buy this unit and at this price point, it was a wise choice. I can quickly perform a scan and deduce from the errors across the topology the right area to focus on. Then with some function tests, I can narrow down to the correct area of the vehicle's electrical schematics to pinpoint the problem. or to pinpoint the mechanical failure. The Scanner is easy to use, but you must have a solid understanding of modern engine systems especially how the various vehicle sensors, CANBUS, Control Modules, and mechanical hardware interact with each other to get the most out of this tool.

This is a great tool!
I saved a long time for a tool like this. It was worth it. I have used it on 5 cars so far. It has received updates every few days and some have brought noteworthy new features and functions. The tool is growing in capabilities. New System Topology view of data buses and modules is very cool and allows direct navigation and entry into those modules. The example pic here is from an old truck. Newer vehicles would look much more extensive but this feature can help make it easier to understand. Full bidirectional controls and functional tests are so sweet to have. Code searches to Google can now be done from the tool. The wireless VCI is great and a particular feature of the one that comes with this tool helped me the other day. Plugged into the DLC (OBDII port) of a car and it did not power up the VCI. Tried another scan tool, same thing. No power on the DLC. I didn't have time to chase this down. So I plugged the ThinkTool Pros VCI in again and because it can also connect to the tablet via USB cable it was able to use power from the tablet to power up the VCI and connected to the ECU and all other modules. Ha! I'll admit I didn't see that coming. Another example... troubleshooting a small EVAP system leak on a Chrysler... this tool allowed me to run a test on the system without having to wait for drive cycles and all conditions to be met that normally would be required. This enabled me to know quickly that my repair had solved the problem. This thing is rugged, comes in a great case with many cables and accessories - one of them the quality USB cable just mentioned - 5 yr hardware warranty with 2 yr free updates. WiFi and Bluetooth work great. Many more pluses not mentioned here. I love it so far.

NO SUPPORT
This is a ok scanner. I have used it for several years. The huge problem is there is no support from the manufacturer. The user manual is really just a quick start guide. There are many support/learning features in the tool that are not supported by the manufacturer. There is no way to see what functions will work whith what vehicles. There is no way to learn every function that it can possibly do. Etc... etc...
