Exactly what I ordered

Yes, this one! They are high quality and actually work.
Of the three separate packs of O2 absorbers I ordered, these were the best. They were the only ones that had a demonstrable reaction and sealed my jars within the same day! I could even hear them (the canning lids) popping. If you are worried about getting ripped off buying bunk, look no further. These )2 absorbers actually work great!

Good product but needs directions for handling
These work great so far*. I put one in a pint mason jar with homemade jerky bites that I normally vacuum seal as well. I got lazy last time and just closed the jar but 10-15 minutes later...."pop" the jar sealed itself! The absorber obviously did it's job. *BUT. This product needs instructions for handling really badly!! When you first open the bag of absorbers plan on IMMEDIATELY putting them in a sealed container! They will almost instantly begin generating a LOT of heat. Like a nuclear melt down. Lucky for me, I have a vacuum sealer and got them in a bag quick. I even threw them in the freezer hoping to reverse the thermal reaction quickly. I've since transferred them to several mason jars so I don't have to expose the whole batch every time. I vacuumed the jars - but apparently that's not necessary.

Reliable oxygen absorption, confirmed by reassuring observations
These OxyFree oxygen absorbers meet my criteria...or in the case of preserving jerky, I can equally well say "meat" my criteria haha. The company packs these in a super-thick vacuum sealed bag, hard as a rock. There is a color-changing oxygen exposure indicator in the bag, which I really like: For the skeptic in all of us...well, just open the bag and expose it to oxygen, and make sure you see the color change on that little indicator that they include in each sealed bag. These also heat up immediately when exposed to the air, providing another piece of evidence that the oxygen-absorbing chemical reaction is occurring rapidly, as it should. But there's more...we use these in mason-type jars (Ball, Kerr), with the two-piece button lids, for storing dried fruits and veggies, mostly. As the oxygen is removed from the air in the jar, the button lid inverts (pops), like a vacuum seal. With all of these indications, I can be pretty confident that this product is indeed doing what it's intended to do. No more oxygen accelerating the aging of our food. Good old oxygen sustains us throughout life, and then one way or another it seems to take us all down eventually...but in the meantime oxygen doesn't have to ruin your long-term-stored foods. Jarring, I know, isn't that what we're talking about here? :) Five stars for OxyFree oxygen absorption!
