I purchased this for a living room remodel and it was refurbished at about 40 dollars less. A reminder that 'refurbished' may not be 'as new.'Unfortunately, my remodel contractor ran into schedule problems and by the time I was able to install this unit the return window had closed. Not the seller's fault.Mine came with internal wiring conflicts: Speaker 6 labeled on the back is actually the input. Then, all the speakers work on channel 'A' up and including 5 speakers. When I wire the sixth (which is now where it is labeled 'input'), the 6th works, but all the other ones go out. I figured that I can have 5 on channel A and the 6th on channel B, even as there's nothing connected to channel B.Also, I had to fix 1 connector in the back that was assembled incorrectly.I'll work around this issue and continue to use this unit unless it breaks.Of note is that the volume is in steps, not a smooth swipe. They do feel solid, however. I don't plan to be using the volume on a daily basis, but more to create relative volume levels for different areas.FInally, this is the only 6 speaker with volume that I found at this price. The others were ridiculously priced. I may try 2 affordable boxes (two 4 channels) wired in series if this doesn't work. Since it adjusts impedance automatically, I believe this will work.

I have 3 zones that before I could only use one at a time because the volume was so different between each of them. The deck would be at the perfect volume and livingroom was blaring so bad everything was vibrating! This product fixed that. Able to adjust all the volume equally. If the ohms have changed I am not noticing it and I am a picky listener about sound quality. Buy this with confidence. Now I am going to set up 3 more zones!

The tabs are held by tiny springs, must be gentle with them.

We love this product. We are able to not only control what speakers are playing the music but we are also able to adjust the sound for each set of speakers so we don't have guests yelling over the music at our events in the various locations on the property. We can turn the volume higher in our pavilion and have lower volume on the deck.....etc. Works perfect. Would definitely recommend this product.

This is a good alternative to the otherwise really expensive volume control source selector. I have it hooked up to a 120w amp and it works just fine. The installation was a breeze very easy to use. 16 gauge wire used to connect the speakers.

This thing is awesome! I was looking at multi channel amplifiers so I could have independent volume control of the music in multiple areas of my small business. This allows me to do this with one amplifier plus I can even shut zones completely off if need be.Much cheaper than buying multiple amplifiers for multiple zones and reasonable volumes.

I used this to control the volume in different rooms of my office. You have to have some know-how to set this up correctly as the directions are not very detailed. If you know what you are doing with wiring, this works perfectly. This saves a ton of money so you don't have to wire a control in every room.

Price, compact design and ease of installation met my needs of a basic multi-room speaker selector.

Using a QSC-302 amp rated at 200W RMS @ 8Ω, this device's internal transformers vibrate (an interesting characteristic) and burn out. 3 channels already gone - they short out so that only maximum power and off are available - after 2 months of use. Maybe OK for a much lower power application but definitely nowhere near the 300W they claim.

I ordered this by mistake thinking it had independent source selector for each spkr channel which it didn't so I returned it. Otherwise it seemed to work fine and looks much better than the Pyle unit I ended up with (too much obvious labelling).

Great product. If you need to switch between 2 speaker inputs to multiple speaker outputs, this is the one to get. Keeps impedance (resistance) correct so you don't blow your amp no matter what the configuration.

Looked high and low. I have separate sound levels for my pool, deck, garage and kitchenette. Works awesome and price is right.
