Tarot of the Abyss

One of my favourite tarot desks. Nice to shuffle too. Feels nice in the hand.

I had a smaller version of these cards and loved the artwork so much, I decided to buy the full size cards. I’m so pleased I did, as the card stock is good quality and feels lovely to shuffle. There are two extra cards in this deck - one is another 3 swords, with an alternative meaning and the other is the 10 swords, again with an alternative meaning. The Deck comes in a sturdy box with an accompanying booklet, which is also of good quality and detailed descriptions of the cards.

Another of my favourite decks. The art work is outstanding, the cards are easy to hold and shuffle with foot quality card stock. I love the addition of the extra cards which adds as deeper meaning to any reading.

I love everything about this deck. The illustrations feel personal and potent, yet carry a sense of timelessness and worldly sage wisdom about them (the choice of b&w perhaps aid this). The cards are the same size as standard RWT and a pleasure to manage as they are great stock, less waxy than standard RWT, and shuffle beautifully. The book is excellent. No illustrations inside but they aren't necessary; I far prefer the additional insight and detail that is provided, which is as unique and meaningful as the illustrations, expanding and elevating my seasoned tarot knowledge. The box is also lovely - solid and sturdy and not one you want to discard. A true labour of love from Ana Tourian, and you can feel it. A very special tarot deck, and one of the best I've ever used.

I put these in my basket a number of times before I actually bought them as I wasn’t sure. When they arrived, I still wasn’t sure - a bit underwhelmed if I’m honest - until I started handling them and reading the book. By the time I came to try a reading, I was in love. These are amazing in a way I can’t put my finger on. If you’re doubting, but feel called to these cards, my recommendation is to buy them. They are wonderful.

The Author has a very authentic and knowledgable feel and air to her writing. She explains certain things so well and has an approach and an introduction to the cards that I haven’t ever heard before! The alternative carts provided are well thought out and I appreciate the versatility they afford me in terms of interpreting them. Lovely!

What a great deck x took a while getting used to the cream and white but omg the detail in these drawings is amazing x what a great job x almost don’t want to use them x just want to save them xx card stock is what you would expect and book is small but good enough xx definitely a good buy

The detail in this deck is amazing, a gifted artist and obviously knowledgeable tarot reader too. I particularly like the re-visioning of certain cards like the hanged man, I believe all deck creators have the ability to tap into their own psyche and bring out from the depths something new.

Intriguée par ce tarot lors de review sur YT je suis bluffée par les dessins d une précision et d un mystère fabuleux. Les expressions des visages sont intenses et très intuitives. Il faut noter qu'il y a 2 versions du 10 et 3 d épées, version traditionnelle et version en numérologie. Les explications du livret en anglais apportent une nouvelle dimension dans l interprétation du tarot qui m'a particulièrement surprise et amène une nouvelle perspective à mes lectures. Je vais essayer des combos, avec entres autres l' oracle de la dame de l' ombre, et lenormand reflet de lune de Célia meslesville. Ce tarot est vraiment très intéressant. Concernant les cartes, elles sont plutôt de bonnes qualités sans plus. Tranche neutre. Taille tarot. Coffret très joli, bref je suis conquise par ce tarot au tarif très intéressant vu la qualité du contenu du livret et des magnifiques dessins d ana tourian

Mazzo completamente in bianco e nero con disegni a dir poco stupendi. Si nota subito che la disegnatrice è anche una che legge i tarocchi perché in tutte le carte c'è una simbologia che lega questo mazzo ai RWS. Alcune carte sono presentate con figure viste da un'altra prospettiva che rende ancora più affascinante questo mazzo. Un ottimo acquisto che consiglio a tutti gli amanti della tarologia.

It's so good that whichever other deck I use (I've got many of them, probably the best ones), I nevertheless return to use this one and the feeling is so good - as if it tells the story truthfully and yet seriously in a tender and loving way.
