The Bach Remedies Workbook: A Study Course in the Bach Flower Remedies Paperback – Illustrated, July 1, 2005

The format of this book is straightforward and brilliant. The remedies are grouped into similar emotional expressions with scenarios for each remedy. This makes it clear to the student how to choose from different remedies which may seem to elicit the same response. The quizzes are quick yet inspire thought. It's nice that successive quiz "questions" reach back and have you continue to keep in mind the previous remedies.The comment about the quality of the book I found to be partially true. There are a few editorial issues, the note-boxes could stand to have higher contrast between the background and the type - but all in all, these are minor compared to the knowledge provided. Yes, it is a paperback. Yes, it would be nice to have pretty glossy pictures. But remember, this is a WORKbook, and meant to be one.My all-time favorite quote about books is,"A book is less important for what it says than what it makes you think" - from author Louis L'Amour. In the case of "The Back Remedies Workbook", the book says a lot and provokes us to think even more. I'm very happy to have found it and to add it to my natural health bookshelf. I expect to read this again and will definitely recommend it.

I signed up to take the official Bach Flower Essence Program and the first thing I read from other students was a suggested reading list: This was one of the suggested books - boy am I glad I bought it. With all of the more technical books I have had to read this one was the best book that gave me the edge I needed in the Bach program. As soon as I received it I started to read and could not put it down. I am so impressed at how well written it is, how easy it is to understand but best of all it is just like a school book. It has self tests after each unit and the answers for your review. For me that makes this book the best on the market because I want to be able to test my skills. I felt like the author was right there with me teaching me directly.So if you ever wanted to learn about Flower essences and need a good starting point then this book is a must!If you are thinking of or signed up to become a certified Bach Practitioner then this book is a must read before you begin the program. It will give you a head start and will make all of the other books easier to understand.Overall:A must read for anyone interested in Flower Essences.Easy to read & comprehendThe author gives you case studies which are easily understood.Fast shipping & arrival, excellent condition.

I wasn't expecting much, as I went into the whole Bach Remedies thing (and homeopathy in general) as a skeptic. After all, no one has ever been able to provide any scientific proof for how homeopathy works. But anyone who's read any of my reviews knows that I have an incurable autoimmune disease and I'm always on the lookout for ways to treat my symptoms that won't interact with all the pharmaceutical drugs I have to take. So I read this book and I was REALLY impressed with how the lessons are laid out. I feel like I got a very solid education on the whole Bach line of flower remedies. Then I went out and actually bought a few different bottles, to put my lessons to the test. I mixed up a few batches, according to the book's directions, and, surprise, it actually worked! Not only that, but the symptoms haven't come back and it's been several months. I still don't know how this works - not even Dr. Bach himself knew - but I am very happy that I bought this book and found something new for my arsenal.

Since my budget does not allow for a six week trip to England to study at the Bach Center. This is the next best thing. I am getting old and do not memorize as well as I used to. I often lose my keys, my cell phone well you get the idea. This workbook has worked well for me The exercises change as you go along in the book as do the examples. I found the book stimulating and easy to follow, I seldom need to go back and do a section again as I remember what I learned. I am not to the end yet as I sit down and study when I get a chance but I am confident I will be able to pass the final quiz. I have been using the Flower remedies with animals, family and friends with excellent results.

I would have given it 5 stars except the paper it is printed on is low quality (similar to tablet paper I used in elementary school). Highlighted boxes and associated text in the boesx are very difficult to read. Publisher needs to remove the "fill" from the boxes so print can be more easily read. I have the 3rd printing

I read many reviews that criticised the art or simplicity of this book. However, I think both the art and the simplicity serve the reader well. This is an excellent place to begin if you want a tutorial on Bach Flowers that will give you a pretty good overall understanding of what they are, how they work and actually a bit of a working knowledge that can get you using Bach Flowers in a very useful and accurate way. I think it would be a great beginners book, but it is also useful as a quick reference for those more advanced.

The book is simple to understand. In the section about the Author is states that he would like feedback about the book so he can imporve it. Yet there is no way to contact the author to tell him anything. So here it is Stefan Ball:The grey boxes with writing in them is very hard to read and makes the book much less enjoyable, maybe even irritating. I suggest you outline what you highlighted or should I say what you blacked out and keep the backgroung light.

If you really want to use Bach flower remedy, you need to have basic knowledge. This workbook is a good study tool.
