Wow. I have been looking for the right sling pack for weeks. I have looked at ones costing over $100, U.S. made ones, etc., hoping to find the perfect solution for my needs. I usually use a small backpack for travel that combines days of hiking and sightseeing. Meh. I needed a pack that was:1. Flat enough to be able to use over my shoulder for going into a cafe or pub for coffee or lunch or even an informal dinner without benefit of returning to hotel to get changed.2. Expandable enough to hold water bottle, guide book, Panasonic FZ200 camera, small jacket, umbrella, etc. for days on the trail or around sights.3. Neutral enough not to scream a brand or say rugged.4. Practical enough to hold a water bottle in a dedicated mesh pocket that won't catch on things.5. Padded enough on the shoulder strap and back.6. Water repellent.7. Has several practically sized zipped pockets.Well, for $20.99, I have gotten them all. I would gladly have paid 5 times the price for this to be U.S. made.Assuming the pack holds up, which it surely appears it will, I am delighted.

Bought this for a two week excursion to Peru, and this bag performed phenomenally. In and out of trains, planes, and automobiles, I used this to carry valuables, bottled water, snacks, fold-up walking sticks, and other essentials, up and down through the ruins of Peru, and the streets of the big city of Lima. It isn't too big, or too small, and can be slung over one shoulder or worn cross-body in front or back. It cleans up nicely and is very durable.I was able to fit a Galaxy Tab A in this bag, along with a larger Logitech bluetooth keyboard. It would probably accommodate a smaller 13" laptop or notepad. Most Tablets should not be a problem.This is without a doubt my new favorite carry bag. Highly recommended, and the folks at Unigear have been great.

Pros: One of the larger sling bags out there, middle pocket has organizational elements, has a small strap pocket and 2-way zippers.Cons: Water bottle pocket is only sized for 500mL or other slimline bottles, the strap pocket is too small to be of much use. The zippers look like they won't last long.I chose this for a 'get home' bag. The fabric and stitching does not inspire confidence in a long lifetime, but time will tell. The small water bottle pocket is the closest thing to a deal breaker for me, and I'm still searching for a suitable stainless steel water bottle that will fit. The back mesh is thin and for whatever reason, the strap pocket has mesh on it as well.I also have an issue with the seller. I received two emails from them requesting a review. Nothing unusual there. However, the subject lines were misleading: "...Easy Tricks For Your Unigear Shoulder Chest Crossbody Sling Bag" and "...Please Confirm Your Amazon Purchase of Sling Bag". The obviously intentional misdirection does not inspire confidence in the seller, but suspicion in their integrity.

I bought this for my husband for travel. I had gotten him already a fanny pack that could be worn around the chest. He felt like he could totally get by with that in some places, such as Europe, but not so much here. Plus he needed more space for a water bottle and iPad, so I checked locally at an expensive luggage store that was going out of business. Even at liquidation prices, every backpack we saw like this was in the $100 range. We did not spend that but we still wanted the quality, who can blame us? At such a lower price, I wasn’t sure what I was getting but I thought I would take the risk. It’s hard to tell if the quality is what you believe it is just from pictures and descriptions but I can tell you that I was super impressed. The back is well padded and very stiff, which is great because it keeps it shape no matter what you store inside. The strap is well padded and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The material is thick and durable, but somehow still lightweight. This bag has a very sleek a parents when worn no matter what you stuff inside, and it somehow so generous with the amount of space it has for essentials and nonessentials frankly. It’s also very stylish, could totally get by with using this anywhere, even the states. I bought this for my husband but I could totally get by with it also, it’s definitely unisex. We’ve use this for day trips but not a long trip yet, we have one coming up and I think this bag will be great!

I tried out a few different cross body sling bags from Amazon and this was the best out of the bunch. It's a great middle ground in terms of size, weight, and utility. Some bags were a little small and this was a good compromise between a bag which was between the size of a small sling bag and a backpack. The color is nice because it doesn't call much attention to itself. Plus, the two compartments and the small front pouch are ideally sized for me.My only criticism is that the material may not hold up for years of use and abuse but I feel like the light weight of the bag makes up for its durability. If the bag gets damaged I'll gladly purchase another one.If you're on the fence about getting a cross body sling bag - I think it's worth it. Because you can swing it around in front of you while you're wearing it, it makes is super easy to access whatever you have inside your bag.

The bag has a lot of compartments, however if you are looking for a large main pocket, this would not be recommended. It is great for laptop in one, and personal stuff in other. I like the extra features to this like the ability to plug your devices in to charge with a power bank and that its water resistant. It can hold a good amount of weight with its build quality. Overall I am happy with it for the style and comfort for the price I paid.
