Product received had been used and was damaged.
This was obviously a used or refurbished item as one of the pins on the male end was clearly missing. I wondered if it might work anyway. I placed it on the computer and the monitor I was hoping to power up, but nothing happened no lights no connection. I know the monitor works because I can hook it up from a newer computer with a regular cord sometimes called a PC Monitor extention cord. I ordered this online because Big Box retailer's don't carry it.

"No Signal"
it did not work. when i plugged it in the only thing on the screen was "No Signal". it is wasted money for me and with the return policy it would cost me money to return it. so in the parts box it goes.

Terrible deal!
Stay away from this prpoduct. This product was defective. Had 14 pins on one end and 9 on the other. I had to $8 total in shipping because the seller made me pay to return it!
