They are small, strong, locks well, good for little jobs.

Everybody claims to have "The Original Vise-Grips." All I know is that the USA-made versions are hard to find and expensive when you do find them. All I use these for is holding sliding axle release handles in place at work, so I didn't want to spend a lot of coin on something that will probably get lost or run over. The jaw shape is perfect for my use, and they're just big enough to handle with one hand.

I do a lot of clamping around things, in 14 years of doing garage doors this is my first set of curved jaw grips and I've been missing out. They are perfect for me, clamping track and garage door shafts.
