Mini is a good size for any dog — even a Great Dane!
Ordered this after my vet introduced me to it, for our anxious Great Dane (we can spray calming spray and put all sorts of different treats in it to distract her when she’s anxious). I was a bit concerned about it being “mini,” but it’s still a very workable size for her! I don’t think we’d be able to fit her 3 cups of food in it, but we’re using it as more of a treat mat than an interactive feeder, and it’s the perfect size for that.

Works Great!
My dog, Sir Chancelot, eats too fast and vomits. This works to slow him down. His tummy is thankful and so am I. He doesn't know it, but he is too.

Game changer
We tried every slow eater and this is a life changer. Our 2 female Malinois are more relaxed and the slow feeder has helped us greatly to work through ressource guarding. They are more relaxed and we see consistant and measurable improvements.

IT WORKS!
This is the only slow feeder that has been able to significantly slow down our pitbull’s eating. It takes him about 10 minutes to get to all his hard food now. Wet food takes longer. It’s kind of a brain game for him too!

Outstanding for large dogs!!
Great product....except when you accidentally step on it....worse than a Lego! :) but great product to slow down consumption.

Perfect size for big dogs
My 70 pound lab mix wolfs down food, so we have to have a slow feeder, but he also chews all the slow feeder bowls that we’ve gotten. I got the large size, perfect for a big dog. It makes him take a while to eat his food, which is what we want. And since it has a flat bottom he can’t get it off of the floor to chew on it. For us, it’s the best we’ve found.

mini size perfect for LABS!
Our labs love to inhale food, any food! This dish slows them way down, we've tried 3 others on the market. None work as well as this. The mini size is perfect for labs up to 70+ pounds. We tried the larger size, they can get the food too easily, with the "mini" they have to work at it.

Solid slow feeder your dog will love!
Our dog trainer recommended this slow feeder to help prevent bloat and to give our large breed, active dogs (a Labrador Retriever and a German Shepherd) something productive to do.The lab loved it from the get-go. The shepherd needed some convincing, but now also enjoys it. They went from eating in one minute or less to taking 5-10 minutes to eat.I love that this feeder mimics how wolves eat in the wild (licking up the scraps up meat in the grass blades) and really makes my dogs work for their food. There is a bit of learning curve but it's fun to watch them sniff for the last pebbles and use their tongues to work the food free.I've used this for both dry food and human foods (corn, turkey, eggs, green beans, etc.) and it works well for them all. The only downside is it's not the easiest to keep clean. Definitely rinse with hot water after each use. I believe they're dishwasher safe, but I've not tried that out yet.

Cannot Recommend Highly Enough
I have a 7-month-old Lab who inhales his food so quickly he often makes himself sick. I have tried various tricks to try and slow him down as well as a few different slow feeding bowls but he still manages to devour his entire meal in the blink of an eye before heading off to scavenge in the other dogs' bowls. This feeder was recommended to me by a friend, and although the reviews were good I still wasn't convinced that it would do any good. The feeder arrived last night and my first thought was that it was huge and that in all likelihood my boy would just tip it over and hoover up his food like always. Fast forward to feeding time this morning, I put his food down and he dived on it as always, but this time he was stopped in his tracks. Unlike other slow feeders, the raised parts are very high, meaning he had to manoeuvre the food around to get to it. He did try to tip it over (like his other bowls) but because it doesn't have a raised rim he couldn't get it to tip. Breakfast this morning took at least 10 minutes or more to finish rather than the usual 30 seconds.I am hugely impressed with this feeder and would highly recommend it to every owner of a greedy dog.

Brilliant for puppy or small dog
Bought initially for an 8wk puppy, to help her food last longer and keep her happy in her puppy pen, she’s now 12 wks old. The first few times she fed from it, she got quite frustrated, but now has every meal from it. She’s now quite adept and getting the food, but still it takes her 10-15 mins to eat it, from an ordinary bowl the contents would be gone in less than a minute! Keeps her occupied and happy! Some people have said these are difficult to clean, we are using dried food with a little wet food added at lunchtime. Not had any problems cleaning it.I think the full size one would be great for an adult, but too big for the quantity of food a puppy has. My pup is a golden doodle.I’d recommend, a great invention!

Game changer
I have a 5 month old Labrador who was eating her food in literally less than a minute. This has extended feeding time to at least 15 minutes. She wags her tail throughout, so it's obviously fun for her, as well as giving me time to vacuum or empty the dishwasher. A real game changer. She's given the taller spikes quite a chew, but she's a puppy who chews whatever she can. I always take it away as soon as she's finished eating, so she doesn't think it's just another chew toy. To get the bits of kibble, your dog needs to chase them out of the feeder on to the floor, so be prepared. I feed my dog outside whenever the weather permits to try to keep the kitchen floor slobber-free for at least a few extra minutes

Fun for the dogs
We bought two of these interactive feeders for our golden retriever and english pointer puppy. We all absolutely love them. We feed their evening meal in these and they keep the dogs entertained for around 20 minutes. The puppy can't quite reach the centre yet so we spread it around the outside but it won't be long before he can which means we won't have to buy another one. They are quite big, robust and well made and stack inside each other as the underside of the nobbles are hollow. The only downside is, because of the shape, they are a bit of a pain to clean each night and we have quite slobbery dogs but have recently taken to washing them with soap and water every other night and hosing them on the nights in between. Even if your dogs don't bolt their food, I would still highly recommend these feeders for the fun element.

Really good slow feeder
This is a really good dog feeding device. My Labrador puppy used to gobble his dry food down in seconds and now he has an exciting challenge which takes him at least 15 minutes to complete. He loves it and his tail is wagging continuously as his tongue fishes out the food. Much better for his digestion and lots of fun at the same time!
