Works-Let me explain
My skin: Oily---My Shine--Nose and t-zone---I've tried so many products and they never last, but this really helped.I'm pregnant and my skin went crazy---it was super shiny all the time and i was going nuts... I have naturally oily skin, but w/raging hormones it was even shinier than usual, especially my nose and t zone, crazy shiny....I purchased this and it really works. I also purchased azelaic acid and now even if I don't use this I don't wake up shiny anymore. The azelaic acid literally fixed my skin, and now I have this as a backup, instead of my main squeeze. It's effective though, it works, and really helped me to just live without worrying folks were looking at their reflection in my shine. But the azelaic acid will literally fix your shine issue, if you're looking for a long term remedy that will change the shine of the skin---azeliaic acid. If you're dealling with shine and need an immediate fix, till you get your azeliac acid, buy Peter Thomas Roth Max Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel, Oil-Absorbing Mattifier---it works!

Good for shiny scalp
Great product for the shiny scalp but it takes a while to get used to the consistency. It is a semi-solid gel and when you dispense it in your palms or fingers before applying I would say it is not one of the most pleasant experiences. However, it is odorless and absorbs the excess oil instantly. I use it on my scalp before an important meeting or just after I shave to avoid the oily scalp appearance (which I hate but unfortunately happens in almost every guy with a shaved head.

Reduced shine but don't touch your head throughout the day
I put this on my head and it did reduce the shine very well but if you accidentally touch your head throughout the day it will rub off like chunks of dead skin and your head will be shiny again.

Goodbye Oil!
I am insanely oily. We're talking pools of oil within 30 mins kind of oily. This product works really well to help me feel like a normal person. It lasts throughout the day and, if I don't blot, my shine is limited to more of a strong glow by the end of it. That's about 8 hours of not feeling like my forehead could be used to direct planes in a fog. Giving it 4 stars because it isn't perfect. I've been using it for about 2 months now. It hasn't reduced my shine over time. And it doesn't last (on me) for more than 10 or 11 hours. But it is a fantastic product and would likely be a game changer to my fellow oil victims.

Works well if you suffer from a shiny scalp
Whats worse than having to deal with being bald? A shiny scalp that causes snow blindness to those around you in the sun. This product does a great job of making it look like you have smooth, matted skin. I use it after applying a base coat of Image Prevention + Daily Matte Moisturizer Oil Free SPF 32. What's nice is that I don't have to use the 'shiny head reduction' tool when I'm editing my photos. Oh wait, that doesn't exist. Sigh.....At least I'm not cripple and have all my limbs...."says most bald guys who are not cripple and have all of their limbs"

Actually works!
So great for keeping shine down on a video shoot. I don’t know what I would have done without it on my last shoot. We were in a warehouse in Tampa with no AC. Could have been quite a mess without an application of this product. The talent were men and they had no complaints for how it felt on the skin. Colorless and weightless. You do need to apply in multiple strokes. It doesn’t go far once it hits the skin.

Self-Confidence is higher than ever
Really wish I knew about this gel 10 years ago. I have always had oily skin, and I sweat a lot which makes it look worse. I take good care of myself and have great hygiene, but it wasn't enough, so I decided it was time to step it up a bit. This gel works like magic, instantly. I rub a small amount on my forehead, nose, and cheeks, and within seconds, all shine is gone AND skin looks nicer and healthier. It lasts for around 5 hours. I would pay twice as much for this product, my confidence is the highest it's ever been.

Best anti-shine product out there
I've tried several brands and products to reduce shine including powders, creams and sprays...some work better than others. For me, nothing works better than Peter Thomas Roth's Max Anti-Shine. It's a little pricey but you only need a small amount to cover the areas more prone to shine. I use it on my nose and forehead. There is no offensive odor, milky weird film or dryness. You can wear it with or without makeup. I may reapply later in the day but I never start my day without it. I would highly recommend this product.

Fantastic Anti-Shine
For anti-shine, this product is great. It's not cheap, but it is high quality. I continue to buy this product and would recommend it.

At last, something that stops the shine for a shaved head
I get a very shiny head after shaving and I was forever being teased at work for it. This product is worth the money as it does what it says: it gets rid of the shine. This is the ONLY product out there that works for men’s head (and I’ve tried a lot). Extremely happy with this. I’ve since ordered many and writing this review has reminded me that I should order some more!

Expensive - works for a few hours - not all day
Expensive, and does not last all day. goes on well and effect is immediate, but feels greasy and does not spread over makeup well.
